Casting Call for Female Rock Climber – Non-Union Project
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced female rock climber for an upcoming commercial project promoting a pain relief cream. This is a non-union project, and no prior acting experience is required. The role is non-speaking, focusing on showcasing the climber’s authentic rock-climbing abilities.
Role:
- Character Description: Female rock climber, 48 to 65 years old, White, non-speaking.
- Skills Required: Must have authentic experience in outdoor or indoor rock climbing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Portray an experienced rock climber in both video and still photography sessions.
- Execute climbing scenes as directed by the production team, showcasing real rock-climbing techniques.
- Participate in a fitting session prior to the shoot for proper wardrobe and gear.
Requirements:
- Demographic: Female, 48 to 65 years old, White.
- Must have authentic rock-climbing experience (indoor or outdoor).
- Comfortable appearing in both video and still photography for the project.
- Able to work in Toronto, ON for one day of shooting.
- Available for a self-tape audition and virtual callback if selected.
Compensation:
- Fitting: $75 (for 2 hours).
- Principal Session: $1,500 for video and still photography session.
- Usage Fee: $3,000 for video and still photography usage.
- Video Usage: 1-year worldwide (web, organic & paid social, new media, industrial, non-exclusive). Additional fees if extended to the second year.
- Stills Usage: Licensing up to 18 months for North America, excluding broadcast.
