To give a taste of our brand’s popularity, Poppy Playtime was the #2 most searched term on YouTube in the last 12 months in the U.S. (only behind a recent Disney film), and Poppy Playtime has over 5 billion views on TikTok.

The Post Production Generalist’s primary focus is to push the video into completion. Moving animation and assets through the Final Layout, Lighting, Rendering, Compositing and Final Editing stages in order to finalize the ideas of the projects director. They will also assist in developing the post production pipeline as well solving technical issues that may arise.

Location: In-Office; 720 Olive Street, St. Louis, MO 63101

Salary: $48,000-$60,000

Responsibilities:

  • Final Layout and Lighting, includes animation/camera fixes, bringing in final props/assets or vfx, final checks of all models and materials, character lighting for each shot, adding post effects and DOF camera settings, etc.
  • Learn and use the rendering pipeline.
  • Composite/Color Grade all footage in After Effects.
  • Final Editing in Premiere Pro, includes bringing in and editing all animation sequences, making final audio adjustments.
  • Rendering final video and uploading to Youtube Analyzing channel analytics in order to communicate an understanding of future best practices.
  • Meet all milestones and weekly deadlines according to the company timeline.
  • Take direction and effectively communicate with a team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro
  • Knowledge of and/all of the following:
  1. Key Principles of Animation
  2. Key Principles of Lighting
  3. Youtube’s Algorithm and How to create content tailored to succeed on the platform Modeling and Texturing
  4. Rigging Maxon Redshift
