Job Description
Theatrical Brand Marketing:
Universal Pictures Theatrical Brand Marketing unifies the strategic positioning and approach to Universal’s event and franchise films across the studio, during theatrical release and throughout the lifecycle of the franchise to ensure brand consistency.
Role Summary
The Manager, Brand Marketing will be instrumental in managing, maximizing, and coordinating the activities of all business units on Universal Pictures properties during the film window as well as helping maintain the brand value and needs on an on-going basis.
Projects span from Theatrical Marketing efforts to IP lead initiatives that deliver across multiple businesses. The position will partner with multiple divisions across the company – Universal Products & Experiences, Universal Parks & Resorts, Partnerships, Home Entertainment, Distribution and other NBCU business units to support Theatrical Marketing plans and maximize development of brand extensions.
Qualifications
Essential Responsibilities:
- Project manages and executes Symphony activations as well as services marketing assets for internal partners
- Manages and organizes cross-divisional requests as it applies to film marketing, assets, and sales materials
- Manages production and distribution of all marketing and sales materials for titles including presentations, reels and collateral used studio-wide for global Promotions, Brand Development, Home Entertainment and Global TV Distribution and Global Theatrical Marketing
- Works with Franchise and Worldwide marketing teams to manage the acquisition, cataloguing and secure distribution of all sales materials/ film assets to all teams. Ensure all materials are distributed within a timely and secure manner (appropriate watermarks, assets memos, NDAs) via official distribution channels.
- Supports VP and Director on the process for Final Filmmaker and Executive Presentations. Interface with all departments necessary to the presentations to receive content and execute creative development of slides where needed
- Tracks park approvals for US and APAC & China
- Supports VP and Director on budget management, tracking invoices and updating trackers
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
- 4+ years of Film/Entertainment Marketing experience
- High proficiency with Keynote and all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required

Salary range: $75,000 -$105,000; bonus eligible
