Key Relationships:Â Worship Director, Production Director and Worship Volunteers
The Music Director at Oasis Church exists to assist in the planning, programming and execution of all weekend worship experiences and church-wide events.
Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and execution of all worship services at Oasis Church
• Assist in scheduling, volunteer recruitment, training and discipleship of the Oasis Worship Team • Assistance with building worship sets and choosing songs that lead our church in a multicultural
and multigenerational worship experience
• Building Ableton Live sets for worship experiences
• Maintaining an organized file structure of all Oasis Worship assets
• Supporting band members, worship leaders and vocalists with adequate resources such as
chord charts, song arrangements, lyrics, etc.
• Collaborating with Creative Director and Production Director on special services and creative
elements
• Actively directing the band, worship leaders and vocalists during rehearsals, worship experiences
and church-wide events.
Qualifications
• Christ Follower
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of basic music theory
• Knowledge of the Nashville number system
• Experience in Ableton Live (preferred, not required)
• Experience in Planning Center Online (preferred, not required)
• Proficient on drums, keys, bass or any combination of the 3
• 3-5 years of experience on a worship team (paid or unpaid)
• A desire to work in a collaborative creative environment
• Well organized
• Must have reliable transportation

Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles
