Job Title: Creative Director

Location: Awendaw, SC

Summary: The Creative Director will lead the Sod Solutions marketing team’s creative vision and strategy for visual design, advertising, and copywriting across video, social, web, and print to create cohesive brand stories, drive sales, and grow Sod Solution’s four business units of Turfgrass Licensing, Sod Home, Sod Professionals, and Software Technology.

An Eye for Design & Branding

In this role, you will own design and branding across our four business 

units and work with our team to tell the story of our businesses, build our brands, craft our messaging, and impress our customers.

SaaS, Ecommerce, and Web UI/UX

Bring working knowledge and ideas to the table to help grow our SaaS, ecommerce, and direct sales lines of business from a design and branding perspective.

Leadership and Mentoring

Lead creative strategy, develop and mentor talent, and bring out the best in the people around you.

Additional Information:

  • Office hours are Monday – Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. This role is a salaried position with a “get it done” perspective being more critical than particular hours, but time in the office is required. This is a Hybrid role, but regular time in the office is required.

    Job Description
    A non-union independent short film is casting supporting and background roles for a story centered around Ash, a biracial sorority girl navigating identity and belonging within her university’s Greek life. When racist images appear at a house party, Ash is confronted with the realities of her environment and her place within it. Filming will take place in Richmond, VA from December 2–6, 2025.
