Five & Done is on the hunt for a Creative Director to help build and lead a product design team. The ideal candidate is a digital native, obsessed with user centric design, research, analytics, UX, UI, prototyping, systematic and beautiful visual design.
Reporting directly to our Executive Creative Director, this role ensures the product design team is delivering creative solutions rooted in strong research and strategy, while delivering the best possible usability and stunning design.
Day to day responsibilities will range from meeting with our clients to understand their needs and requirements to working with our internal team to define, execute, and refine a creative vision. There will be some actual design involved in this role too, mixing Keynote and conference calls with Figma and Sketch.

Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of a product’s life cycle including research, concepts, wireframes, prototypes, UI, documentation, and testing.Â
- Work directly with our clients to identify their needs and requirements, and then translate those into tasks for the product designers. Â
- Prepare, design, and lead client presentations.
- Manage, mentor, and inspire the product design team.
- Review all aspects of the product designer’s work to ensure quality is maintained.Â
- Interview product design candidates in order to grow the team.Â
- Consult with project and production management teams on budget, resource allocation and scheduling of projects.
- Collaborate with the creative team in our California office to ensure our creative approach not only works from a functional standpoint, but also looks beautiful.
About You
- You have spent part of your career focused on graphic or visual design, and part of it focused on user experience design.
- You have prior experience in a client-facing role.
- You’re comfortable running a workshop, know what a journey map is, and are capable of leading product discussions with key stakeholders.
- You have a strong point of view and know how to professionally communicate it.
- You have a solid understanding of Sketch, Figma, InVision, Photoshop, JIRA, Confluence and Keynote, and whatever UI design and prototyping tools will be coming out next year.
- You’re experienced in taking feedback, guiding clients to appropriate solutions and gathering requirements.
- You like to get your hands dirty and can produce wireframes, user flows, prototypes, designs and of course presentations.
- You have a smashing portfolio that demonstrates your understanding of a UCD approach and your stellar problem solving skills.
- You have at least 5 years of experience working within an agency environment and/or on consumer web applications.
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and know how to read a room.
- You have skill, but not an ego.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Videographer/Editor position requires skills in a high-volume production environment specializing in the final storytelling of a project. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the filming and editing process for company video projects. This position requires a diverse knowledge of industry standard types of cameras and production equipment along with basic Avid editing skills. They will work closely with the Producers, Videographers and Editors on staff to ensure projects are completed on time and with the highest technical and aesthetic standards. They are responsible for maintaining the company’s production assets and working with the department production calendar so that equipment is ready for each project.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support production staff with variety of projects using production gear including various models of cameras, lenses, tripods, and other gear related to shooting.
- Work with Production team to build sets for production needs.
- Assist with general duties.
- Maintaining production equipment before and after projects.
- Coordinate the tracking of all production assets.
- Assist with research and ordering of equipment.
- Support with reporting and tracking maintenance and repairs of production equipment.
- Ingest media into company’s archiving system and prepare media for Editors.
- Log footage and edit basic to intermediate level projects.
- Operate additional cameras as needed for production needs including live events.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Minimum college or trade school experience in production or similar field..
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of practical field experience working in multiple aspects of film and video production.
- Color grading at intermediate level.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Thorough understanding of fishing, hunting, and other outdoor skills as required to best work with production team in outdoor recreation company.
- Strong work ethic. Outgoing personality with ability to interact within group of creative individuals in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. Willingness to react with short notice to changes in daily routine.
- Willing to travel as required – often locations require extensive driving and multiple night stays with early and late hours.
- Strong communication skills – able to understand direction and make themselves understood when communicating objectives for accomplishing story lines or goals of a production.
- Thorough knowledge of Avid non-linear editing systems, specifically the Avid Media Composer or similar.
- Strong working knowledge of various codecs, containers and file types used in today’s media environment.
- Able to work within a team environment including in the field or studio and in the post process, editing and finishing.
- Able to lift and carry heavy equipment in variety of terrain and conditions from very hot to very cold.
- Good driving record, able to secure Missouri Operator’s License Class E.
- Good organizational skills: able to keep multiple projects balanced at any one time
- Strong video resume required. This resume should demonstrate samples from all of the areas mentioned above.
