Position: Art Director

Rate: Around $42 per hour DOE
Our award-winning agency client is looking for a REMOTE freelance Art Director to start in September, 40 hours per week, at least through the end of the year.
The Art Director will need to have prior pharmaceutical industry experience.
In this role, the Art Director will work on concepts and designs for both print and digital for a major international pharmaceutical client, with a heavy emphasis on email.
Art Director Responsibilities
- Develop concepts for campaigns
- Strategize with cross-functional stakeholders including copywriters and designers
- Create designs for websites, email marketing pieces, digital advertising and social media
- Design concept imagery for presentations and pitches
- Present to clients and articulate creative concepts
- Work with creative team to produce new ideas for clients
- More senior Art Director will approve proofs and print audits
Art Director Requirements
- Pharmaceutical industry experience required
- Previous agency experience
- Adobe XD required
- 5+ years experience concepting in art direction role
- Strong portfolio of concepted and hands-on work, especially digital and web work
