Responsibilities :
- Utilizes Adobe software to create designs and animations for ESPN productions
- Utilizes and adheres to workflow processes for ESPN property and external Production applications
- Works independently and with Show Unit personnel to deliver on-time, on-brand graphic content for live production requests
- Adheres to proper file management techniques to ensure efficient archiving and subsequent retrieval of projects.
- Demonstrates eagerness to regularly contribute creative ideas, desire to push designs to the next level, and aptitude to learn new software to enhance individual versatility in the department.
- Recognizes, reports, and helps troubleshoot equipment/software/work environment issues
- Adheres to all administrative responsibilities, including time entry and daily reporting requirements
- Maintains high standards of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, creativity and timely delivery of all requests
- Must be highly motivated, work well under pressure, and regularly effectively prioritize multiple assignments.
- Possesses strong individual and team communication skills with the ability to take direction well
Basic Qualifications :
- 1 year of an internship in graphic design
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, with specific focus on Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Must be able to provide a portfolio or demo reel of recent work and explanation of project involvement
- Must be flexible, self-starter, detail-oriented, deadline driven, strong collaborator and excellent communicator
- Passionate about design and branding with an aptitude to learn new trends and technology as it emerges
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quick turnaround live broadcast environment
- Strong design and typography skills
- Ability to accept guidance and respond well to feedback
- Available to work varied hours and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred knowledge of Adobe After Effects
