POSITION SUMMARY:

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting business development and brand enhancement of The Signorelli Company’s integrated verticals by effectively engaging prominent business, real estate and local news media and supporting the internal and external communications efforts of the Marketing team. The position will work with Signorelli team members across geographies and business lines to develop targeted perspectives on new home communities, completed transactions and company culture. Timely, relevant content will be used to pitch members of the news media, craft press releases and articles for publication, and contribute to Signorelli’s social media strategy. The position also requires prompt response to ongoing media requests, identifying appropriate internal sources, as necessary.

Bringing proven best practices and a proactive approach to this new role, the Communications Manager will report to the Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications and interact regularly with all members of Marketing as well as team members in local markets throughout the state. As part of an integrated team guided by company goals, the ideal candidate will support the marketing and communications needs of both internal and external clients, and track results to ensure continuous improvement. This position requires strong communication skills, creative idea generation, and a desire to evolve the communications function to meet the needs of a dynamic, growth organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write communications for internal and external audiences to be distributed across various channels, including print, online and social media outlets, including Signorelli’s blog.
  • Align public relations strategy with market trends, company strengths and overall business goals.
  • Actively seek out opportunities to position our professionals as experts to the media; liaise with regional and local counterparts to surface local content.
  • Identify newsworthy opportunities and lead the process of creating, editing and distributing press releases.
  • Respond to and fulfill media requests, coordinating with local experts, as necessary.
  • Maintain and update press lists and nurture relationships with the media.
  • Track media coverage through third-party system; analyze metrics to develop targeted outreach.
  • Monitor marketing, media relations and real estate industry best practices.
  • Review written materials and proofread internal and external content to ensure appropriate branding and messaging.
  • Support Marketing team on various initiatives.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media, journalism or similar.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in media relations, internal communications and/or social media.
  • Understanding of real estate industry.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail, including excellent proofreading capabilities and a commitment to achieving the highest-quality deliverables and outcomes.
  • Ability to clearly articulate key messages verbally and in written form to media and partners.
  • Expertise in serving several audiences and balancing viewpoints to generate the best result.
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
  • General knowledge of third-party media/news clipping software.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As Development Manager – Austin Point, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently coordinating the horizontal development of 4,700-acre Austin Point to achieve business plans and financial objectives. In this role, you will create and manage land development budgets, monitor work and actively track invoices. The eligible candidate must understand all components of the land development processes and timing/sequencing of all phases of those processes. You will also need to secure the company’s ability to deliver lots on time and play an integral role in the planning process for the jurisdictions in which the company operates, anticipating all possible requirements needed to secure building permits. Additionally, you must have the ability to understand design-related components necessary to satisfy jurisdictional requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and Oversee Conceptual Plan/Preliminary Plat/Final Plat
  • Obtain approval of subdivision, development, and reimbursement agreements
  • Obtain common area landscape plan approval.
  • Oversee Paving, Utility, Landscape, and various other subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular field meetings and inspections.
  • Oversee civil, geotechnical, and structural engineers.
  • Oversee and manage all project related SWPPP requirements.
  • Oversee architects, engineers, and land planners.
  • Work with architects, landscape architects, and other partners to develop recreation centers, parks, and trail systems.
  • Manage and Maintain design and installation of infrastructure with all Dry Utility providers.
  • Manage and Maintain Construction project budgeting.
  • Manage and Maintain Construction budget variance reporting and analysis.
  • Coordinate and assist with builders under contract for lot takedowns or pod sales.
  • Work with financial analyst to maintain proformas.
  • Direct and Manage Contract Negotiations and Bid analysis/administration.
  • Manage and Maintain Scheduling including critical path analysis.
  • Manage Residential Property Owner’s Associations and Municipal Utility Districts with the community.
  • Coordinate and assist others in market research, sales, and advertising.
  • Manage undeveloped land to ensure an appropriate level of maintenance and taxes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Four-year degree in business, finance, engineering or related field required
  • Four years of experience in land development
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to implementation and execution
  • Value Engineering and knowledge of local market for contracting manpower, pricing, and entitlements.
  • Financial and accounting understanding
  • Ability to manage multiple projects within Austin Point simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional manners and a strong ethical code.
  • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.

The Marketing Admin will support the marketing efforts for Signorelli Company communities and brand. This position will provided administrative support for lead generation and branding, onsite sales support, report generation and event coordination, as well as various other administrative duties. The primary responsibility of the Marketing Admin will be to support various marketing programs and works with the in-house marketing and graphics department on compelling and branded campaigns, events, and promotions. This is a non-exempt position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of various marketing efforts including model home appearance, traditional and digital advertising, events and promotions.
  • Assist with creation and tracking of marketing content .
  • Schedule social media, eblasts and blog posts to advertise news and events.
  • Assist with weekly reporting to track and analyze leads, traffic, and sales using HubSpot and PowerBi
  • Manage and update listings in the MLS and other real estate platforms to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect data on shoppers and buyers.
  • Assist with the set up of new communities, including area and demographic research.
  • Support marketing plans and programs using various templated designs.
  • Generate, organize, and distribute marketing collateral for onsite community sales consultants.
  • Coordinate organization of all digital filing system.
  • Update and monitor company website.
  • Maintain inventories for all promotional items.
  • Create presentations for meetings and events.
  • Various administrative duties.
  • Performs other projects and related duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Previous administrative experience a plus
  • Marketing or communications experience a plus
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Experience a plus
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
