Paid Search Manager

Sitting within the Search Marketing team, the Paid Search Manager will lead the activation,

implementation, reporting and optimization, to drive sales and business growth for the LG

Electronics Online Business Store through Google and Bing ads. Daily operations for this role

include hands-on-keyboard campaign execution, optimization, daily budget pacing and bidding,

using Google and Bing’s platform and third party tools (ie. SA360).

About the Team

HS Ad is the in-house digital department for LG Electronics US. Our Search Marketing team is

based in NY-NJ with a hybrid work environment. As of 2022, we ask for a minimum of 3x/week in-

office at our Englewood Cliffs, NJ location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively manage Google and Bing paid search campaigns (with use of SA360’s management platform) to meet business objectives and goals
  • Build and execute paid search campaigns, inclusive of ad group categorization, keyword mining, search trends, competitor research, audience strategies, negative targeting, etc.
  • Develop ad copy messaging that meets brand guidelines and advertising best practices
  • Manage pacing and monthly budgets, optimal allocation between engines and tactics, bidding and related settings, spend reconciliation and other related financial upkeep
  • Work closely with Measurement & Data Analytics team to facilitate reporting and ad-hoc analyses
  • Evaluate data and identify actionable insights to improve performance and spend efficiency, considering beta and pilot opportunities to A/B test

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a strategy or analytics-focused role setting up and managing media campaigns
  • 3+ years of setting up and managing paid search campaigns
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or communications highly preferred
  • Deep understanding of Paid Search campaign management and optimization best practices with an emphasis on SA360, Google, Bing and Google Analytics platforms
  • Experience analyzing performance data and summarizing / communicating via reports and presentations
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power-point)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects/priorities
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up/entrepreneurial environment a plus

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Production Manager

The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple campaigns/projects/journeys building and executing email programs from start to finish, including production and QA, in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

1:1 Marketing (email, SMS, direct mail) is one of the fastest growing channels at LG. As the 1:1 Marketing team, we are charged with maximizing growth and customer lifetime value in the channel by sending the right content, to the right customers, at the right time. Leveraging advanced machine learning models, tapping into our proprietary CDP, we partner with a multitude of cross-functional stakeholders and partners to deepen our relationship with our customers.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Testing, set up and deployments
  • Troubleshoot production-related issues within SFMC
  • A/B or multivariant testing
  • Automation of campaigns and set up complex user journeys in Journey Builder
  • Build personalized or dynamic emails and landing pages in SFMC
  • Segment and pull dynamic subscribers for campaigns automated emails
  • Ability to resolve basic HTML/CSS coding issues quickly
  • Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and email /SMS regulation
  • Ability to configure and set up data models (data extensions, shared data extensions, automations, etc)
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and drive innovative 1:1 marketing solutions that achieve business goals and raise the bar for customer experience with each engagement.
  • QA and approve all email campaigns to ensure creative content, links, and copy are all correct.
  • Assist Sr. Managers with reporting setup and proactively sharing on timely basis with key internal / 3rd party stakeholders — KPI tracking, key trends and insights
  • Optimize enrollment process for all CRM capture initiatives, including onboarding, email and text programs
  • Work closely with the wider LG team to ensure that campaigns and messages are aligned with wider customer propositions and brand guidelines.
  • Track best practices, resources/tools, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations for growth

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience executing and managing email marketing campaigns within SFMC, required
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset; a desire for creative problem solving; demonstrated experience leading and influencing cross-functional teams to support initiatives
  • Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Persuasive and articulate with excellent relationship-building skills; able to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as SQL, Excel
  • Basic HTML skills, required
  • AMPScript proficiency, preferred
  • Strong understanding of Email Service Providers (preferably SFMC) and Customer Data Platform
  • Experience working with multiple marketing channels and compliance considerations for each (CAN-SPAM, double opt-ins, etc)
  • Strong understanding of CRM platform metrics
  • Knowledge of coding emails in HTML and CSS

Corporate Marketing Manager

The Corporate Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of the brand marketing and the cross BU marketing programs to build up the brand power and maintain it healthy in the mindset of target customers. The ideal candidate will champion corporate brand marketing strategy, market trends, and campaign planning & execution efforts. In addition, this role will work with cross-functional teams to develop a holistic plan that reflects LG Corporate’s local and global needs and effectively execute the plan.

This responsibility primarily includes preparing an annual brand marketing plan based on mid/long term brand strategy and executing quarterly/monthly marketing activities by working closely with internal stakeholder groups. Therefore, an insightful mindset to read the market & consumer trends, creative thinking, and communication skills are the most critical abilities for the candidate. The Corporate Marketing Manager will sit within our Customer Service Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports LG’s long term brand strategy and contributes to defining and bringing the brand vision to life in everything we do.
  • Responsible for effective development of marketing and campaign strategies for the corporate brand marketing, including mid/long term brand marketing platform, seasonal programs, sponsorship marketing, operation of OOH, and CSR activities.
  • Management of marketing programs from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed marketing plan to meet diverse stakeholders’ needs and guide related activities.
  • Develop robust and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, including HQ’s Global Marketing Center, Sales, Go-To-Market Brand and Product, Marketing Planning, and Consumer Insights teams
  • Assess and report performance of all marketing campaigns based on qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Manage relationships and collaborate with internal and 3rd party partners.
  • Effectively manage timelines/schedules, including outlining goals, scope, deliverables, and required resources and budget.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with 8+ years of marketing, brand strategy or brand management experience with a proven track record of results, MBA a plus but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, experience leading cross-functional and agency teams
  • Excellent written and oral communications. Ability to develop and present compelling, engaging and polished PowerPoint presentations that inform, inspire and influence.
