Director Corporate Communications DEI

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Overview

· Partner with Internal Communications and External Communications teams on HR, DEI and other people and purpose-related content

· Drive Employer Brand, company culture, DEI and ESG with internal and external communication strategy and people-focused story mining

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

· Manage internal and external communications strategy and content development to support the company’s DEI and ESG strategy and narrative with a 365 approach, including:

o Ongoing demonstration of strategic commitments and progress

o Reinforcement of values and behaviors

o Ownership of cultural moments content

o Development of ERG impact stories and event amplification

· Support head of the DEI team with communications needs (e.g., event talking points, internal presentations, quotes for press)

· Partner with DEI team on awards strategy, submissions and applications

· Review internal and external communications content with a DEI lens, as needed

· Independently analyze and qualify targeted DE&I events and sponsorships to use as a strategic platform for building awareness of Advantage Solutions DE&I initiatives.

· Provide recommendations to Advantage Solutions VP of DE&I, DE&I Board, Corporate Communication team, and other business leaders.

Human Resources

· Translate Employer Brand narrative into a career channels editorial strategy and manage all content development; partner with internal and external communications team on how to reinforce in their channels

· Develop communications for candidate experience and campus recruiting, with a DEI lens

· Partner with HR teams on enterprise-wide cyclical communications as needed (e.g. benefits, performance reviews, training and compliance), providing strategic counsel and distribution execution

· Support Talent Acquisition’s professional and high-volume recruiting efforts

Misc.

· Support VP of HR Communications in response to crises and cultural issues

· Assist with development of ESG report and storytelling, as needed

Skills & Experience

Required

· 8+ years of experience in a communications or marketing role

· Proven understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

· • Excellent written & verbal communication skills • Good interpersonal skills • Strong prioritizing Skills • Flexible & adaptable, able to change & alter according to changes in projects or business environment • Well organized, detail oriented, & able to handle fast paced work environment • Ability to work effectively with management and senior leaders

· Copy-editing in AP style

Position Summary

The Manager of Corporate and Executive Communications-internal will be responsible for all communication from the Executive Leadership Team, direct various strategic level communications for the Company including but not limited to key positioning messages, corporate/organizational messages to employees. This individual will need to build strong relationships internally and externally to develop and hone communications.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and development pf communications, news articles, marketing materials, print publications, videos and websites for internal audiences.

• Oversee development and better utilization of communication mediums throughout the company to ensure break-through of messages and ultimate value to the end receiver. Partner with executive leadership team to develop streamlined communications throughout the company. Overhaul and streamline content on company intranet and print communications

– This position does not have supervisory responsibilities for direct reports

Indirect Reports

– Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree

Field of Study/Area of Experience: Communications, Journalism or related field or equivalent experience

– 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, media or similar setting

-Experience in internal corporate communications mandatory.

-Experience managing web sites/content and understanding of web development process

-Experience managing print communications

-Experience marketing/communicating in alternative mediums (social media)

-Executive level interface

• Sensitivity to company politics and cross-functional interdependencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines

• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, SharePoint and web-browsers

• Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment

• Good interpersonal skills

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.

Position Summary
The role of the Production Manager is to lead the day to day operations, procurement negotiations, presentation, and development of client assets, giveaways, signage, print collateral and field support services for new business opportunities and existing accounts.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Solicit, negotiate and analyze bids from vendors in order to secure most favorable quality, innovation, pricing, shipping, and scheduling. Submit quotations for customer pricing and internal budgets.
  • Review cost estimates against budget to identify variance opportunities
  • Direct and coordinate production schedules on all dashboard projects
  • Work with management, client services and operations to proactively manage projects to budget and identify unique areas for savings
  • Ability to communicate status and meet outlined deliverables of all projects at all times including daily maintenance of project dashboards, project review meetings and collaboration with client presentations
  • Organize and maintain all folders and hard copy library resources and archives
  • Source, introduce and secure design and exhibit resources that develop value and innovation communicate unique findings with team
  • Source, negotiate and secure national, regional and local equipment, exhibit and supply vendors, identifying unique solutions, photographers, best in class pricing and cost saving methods for improvement
  • Identify and attend approved trade exhibits, shows and regular company field programs to develop and maintain knowledge base
