Last Days of Koreshan

It’s 1908: Cyrus Teed, aka Koresh, leader of the egalitarian, socialist, and celibate commune Koreshan Unity, has uttered his last breath. Fortunately for him and his followers, salvation is upon them when his soul is transferred into the body of his platonic co-leader

Victoria Gratia. Unfortunately for the Koreshans, his teachings haven’t made clear when that will be. As they wait for Victoria’s arrival, Teed’s sister and most devoted follower, Emma must lead the community in prayer while his body lies on display in a bathtub—

testing time, her faith, and notions of mortality.

We are looking for 4 characters: 

1. Cyrus Teed,  age Late 60s–70 , small, frail man. Striking eyes and squared jawline.

bare-shaved face. , charismatic, dramatic with a commanding voice, Dies in the first scene. Actor must be comfortable laying still for long duration, & having SFX makeup/Prosthetics made for/applied to them. Scenes where they are 'dead', their torso is exposed to the camera/audience.

2. Jennie Andrews, early 60s ,blond–grey hair, fuller figure. a Southern Lady originally from Alexandria, VA. At first hesitant, but ultmately a believer in Koreshanity

3. Emma Norton, Early 50s,small-statured, ashy hair. Efficient

Caretaker & Herbalist

4. Dr. Weimer, Early 50s , bearded, handsome and with a full head of hair and ROUND GLASSES.  German-accented, has the fervor and superstition of

an evangelical preacher, yet he is educated on

ancient mythos and history. Part of the eclectic school

of osteopathy

recording in Broward County, dates/location TBD

Rehearsals will hold at least 1 virtually, 1–2 in person $50/day, 2-3 days

Recording Late April–May (Hold dates April 30–May 3) $150/day, 3 days

What You’ll Be Doing

Create short-form lifestyle videos & photos (Reels, TikToks, Stories — phone content is totally fine)

Appear on camera as a brand representative

Help grow and maintain our Instagram & TikTok presence

Assist with posting, captions, and basic engagement

Handle simple online tasks (emails, research, scheduling)

Collaborate on creative ideas and brand direction

Who We’re Looking For

Comfortable on camera (modeling, lifestyle, or host experience is a plus)

Organized, reliable, and professional

Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, or similar platforms

Interested in food, hospitality, or lifestyle branding

Looking for ongoing weekly work, not just a one-off gig

Able to represent the brand positively and professionally
