CASTING CALL: LATINX FAMILY MEMBERS

Job Details: We are casting for an exciting non-union project centered around a Latinx family. We are specifically seeking Latinx individuals to portray Grandfathers (ages 55-70), Mothers (ages 25-35), and Boys (ages 4-7). This one-day filming opportunity will take place in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.

Job Responsibilities: As a selected participant, you will be part of a heartwarming and authentic portrayal of a Latinx family. The commercial will capture genuine interactions and moments that reflect the warmth and joy of a close-knit family. We highly encourage you to apply if you have experience playing soccer, as some roles involve soccer scenes.

Requirements:

  • Latinx individuals who can portray Grandfathers (ages 55-70), Mothers (ages 25-35), and Boys (ages 4-7).
  • No prior acting experience is required, but you should feel comfortable being filmed and interviewed.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Applicants must be available for a brief interview with the director on August 2nd (if shortlisted).
  • Selected participants must be available for a wardrobe appointment on August 14th (about 2 hours required).
  • Must be available for filming on August 15-18th, with only one day of filming required.

Compensation Details:

  • $75 for the wardrobe appointment.
  • $200 for travel time.
  • $500 for one day of filming.
  • If your footage is included in the final commercial, you will receive an additional $2,500.
  • If your stills are used in the final commercial, you’ll receive an additional $1,000.

CASTING CALL: CO-WORKERS WANTED

Job Detail: We are casting for a fun new commercial and seeking outgoing individuals, ages 25-50, who often take lunch breaks together from demanding jobs in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You can apply as an individual or in a group of 2-4 co-workers who work in physically demanding professions, such as construction workers, landscapers, tradespeople, first responders, fitness instructors, warehouse workers, mail carriers, nurses, etc.

Job Responsibilities: If selected, you and your co-workers will be featured in a lively commercial showcasing the camaraderie and daily experiences of colleagues who share lunch breaks. The commercial will highlight the importance of bonding moments during busy workdays. It would be best to act naturally and authentically in front of the camera, portraying genuine dynamics and friendships among co-workers.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be aged between 25-50 years.
  • You should be outgoing, expressive, and comfortable in front of the camera.
  • If applying as a group, ensure there are 2-4 co-workers aged 25-50 years.
  • Co-workers should have physically demanding professions (as mentioned above) to fit the theme of the commercial.
  • All applicants must be in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Compensation Details: Selected individuals or groups will be generously compensated between $825 and $2,325 for one day of filming. Payment will vary based on the number of individuals involved (1-4 co-workers) and the final role assigned in the commercial.

Note: Travel expenses and any other costs incurred during the casting process or filming will not be covered.

Role: Delivery Driver

Job Detail: We are casting for a commercial project centered around food delivery services. The commercial will be used for digital social media platforms and print advertising.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The selected Delivery Driver will be required to portray the role of a professional and efficient delivery person.
  • Showcase exceptional delivery skills while handling food packages, ensuring a positive and appealing representation of the delivery service.
  • Follow the director’s instructions and bring authenticity and enthusiasm to the role.
  • Participate in the filming of scenes featuring delivery scenarios.

Requirements:

  • All applicants must have a VALID CANADIAN DRIVERS LICENSE and reliable access to a vehicle.
  • Previous experience in food delivery services (e.g., Doordash, Uber Eats, Lift, Pizza, etc.) is highly desirable.
  • BONUS points if you are currently employed as a delivery person, as it will add to the authenticity of the role.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered.

Compensation:

  • Session Fee: $400 for the shooting day.
  • Buyout: $500 for one year of usage for the commercial on digital social media and print platforms.

Project Description: We are casting child-parent duos for an exciting new spot for a meal prep company. This project will showcase real kids aged 6-12 and their parents or legal guardian trying out delicious meals on camera. We want to hear from you if you and your child are enthusiastic about food and enjoy sharing your genuine reactions!

Job Responsibilities:

  • On-camera meal tasting: Kids will be asked to try a selection of meals while being filmed.
  • Showcase genuine reactions: The goal is to capture authentic and positive responses to the meals.
  • Short video shoot: The child and parent/guardian will be required to participate in a video shoot.

  • Child: Must be between the ages of 6 and 12.

We are looking for kids ages 11 to 15 who can confidently ride a hoverboard. He or she might own one or have experience riding one. We will need to see them do this in the audition.
