Trigger Casting is currently seeking three talented spoken word artists, poets, or storytellers for an exciting new project scheduled for April. We are looking for individuals in their 30s to 50s, both female and male, who possess a passion for storytelling and the ability to captivate an audience with their words and presence. This opportunity requires talent that can not only perform their own material but can also effectively read scripted material, memorize lines, and engage in conversational speaking. The project will be filmed over three days in Chicago.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform spoken word, poetry, or storytelling as required by the project’s needs.
  • Read and interpret scripted material in a way that is true to the project’s vision.
  • Memorize and deliver lines with confidence and clarity.
  • Engage in conversational speaking, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in performances.

-What are the details of the position?

3-month, paid and contracted position. Contract Start Date is April 28th.

Month 1 will be REMOTE work only. Virtual meetings, rehearsals, and email communication. Months 2 and 3 will be HYBRID work in the Wilmington, NC metro area (Venue pending). We cannot assist with relocation at this time, however the contract rate is negotiable depending on experience.

The schedule is estimated to be 4-5 hours per week up until tech/performance week, where roughly 24 hours are to be expected during that week.

Stage Management & Choreography Director

Responsible for the coordination and logistics of rehearsals and performances. This includes being the point of contact for the cast, crew, and other Directors and assisting with any administrative tasks needed for the production. They will be responsible for overseeing scenery and props during performances. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills. In addition to managing the stage, this person will also be responsible for creating original dance routines, with the assistance from the Producer, that align with the characters of the show.

• Proficiency in multi-tasking or organization for a theatrical production or film

The Role

XQ is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our dynamic team of cross-disciplinary designers, illustrators, writers, and producers. As the Art Director, your role will involve crafting creative content for digital, video, and print formats across various marketing campaigns and products.

Reporting directly to the Head of Creative, you will play a pivotal role in shaping concepts and bringing campaigns to life. Your work will be instrumental in driving audience acquisition and retention across multiple channels, all while shedding light on the transformative potential of reimagining the high school experience.

  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and relevant stakeholders to translate concepts into top-tier visual designs across various mediums, including print, digital, and video.

  • Proficiency in designing for web, video, and print. Publishing experience is a plus.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. After Effects is a plus.
  • Experience in art directing photography and video.
  • Ability to lead medium to large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven collaboration experience with marketing teams.
