  • Complete oversight for the newscasts and all content across our multiple platforms, including story selection, production and newsroom management
  • Design and implement strategies to engage and build audiences across platforms, including working with audience development to ensure the Building a Better Bay Area brand promise is met
  • Encourage innovation, risk-taking and powerful storytelling in crafting great content
  • Inspire producers and writers to use creative production techniques and new forms of media to enhance content across platforms

The role is to play Joe Loya at two different periods/stages in his life.  Two stand-out scenes (1) Sixteen/Seventeen-year-old – who has suffered beatings at the hands of his father and decides enough is enough and Joe decides to kill his father before either Joe or his brother is seriously or fatally injured by Joe’s dad.  (2) After a life of several years of petty crime, Joe decides to rob banks with little criminal pedigree but with a lot of anger – Joe robs his first bank, the first of nearly 50.  Joe would later get caught and go to jail and ultimately transform his life and write a memoir.
