CASTING REQUIREMENTS:
- -You must be FULLY vaccinated and willing to verify vaccination. If not vaccinated please DO NOT submit.
- -May be required to take a COVID test upon arrival to site. This will be determined by production company
- -Must be willing to work as local hire (You are responsible for travel & lodging)
- -You must have full day availability. Some of you may be needed up to 12 hours.
- -Must be able to get up/down stairs efficiently.

SCHEDULES:
We are casting for two different locations, Location A and Location B. Schedules for each location are as follows:
Location A: Your work day may be divided into two or three shifts, (Example: 8am-10am & 1pm-3pm OR 6pm – 7pm & 7:30pm – 10:00pm). However, your total hours worked will NOT exceed 8 hours
-You will have to leave the premise if the break is longer than 90 minutes
-Parking provided on premises during all shifts and paid for by production
Location B: You MAY be needed for up to 12 hours on location, however this is subject to change
-Parking provided on premises during all shifts and paid for by production

LOCATION:

We are a Human Experience Agency based in Philadelphia, PA. We’re passionate about removing the friction that can exist between products and people, through a combination of strategy, creative communications, and product development.
Responsibilities
- Managing video and motion graphics projects from concepts into finishing.
- Organizing and planning live-action shoots.
- Supporting project management to keep projects on tracks.
- Supporting the team of designers, writers, animators, editors, voiceover talent, and finishing freelancers (sound mix, color, captions).
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in film production, ideally with some marketing experience
- 75% of this role is post production functions – exposure to animation and editing
- Knowledge of production pipelines from start to finish
- Exposure to Frame io, Slack, Asana
- Expert in remote media management
- Detail obsessed (if you can memorize a brand’s hex #, that’s a bonus)
DAY-TO-DAY
- Running daily AM and PM touch-bases with film and motion team. Discuss any deliverables, roadblocks, and needs for each project with everyone.
- Attend any kick-off meeting.
- Attend weekly account status meetings.
- Set up any production kick-offs for each project.
- Working with project management team to set up and maintain project pipeline.
- Making sure the artist has all the appropriate assets they need to get the project done.
- Forecasting and keeping owners in loop about any production or support needs.
- Managing freelancer and internal hours, invoices, and receipts from production.
- Be the liaison between sound mix, voiceover, captioning, colorist, and other freelancers.
Production Duties
- Setting up production kick-off for video team.
- Touching base with account managers and project management about scope and any additional budget needs.
- Booking appropriate crew to get job done.
- Booking any additional freelancers to get job done.
- Facilitating any location scouts and any prep days prior to shoots.
- Holding and booking any crew and gear—within scope of budget.
- Booking any travel and any crew meals for production dates.
- Creating call sheets, schedules, and any appropriate documents.
- Purchasing any duplicate media or harddrives needed for DIT,assistant camera, and/or director of photography. Smaller shoots you will be required to dump footage.
- Transferring footage on shared server and nearline drives and/or handing off to editor to set up project.
- Working with editor or assistant editor to create transcription files to then submit to castingwords.com to then make transcriptions (see below for login)
- Coordinate with intern/PA to return any unneeded purchases.
- Logging Expenses.

What You’ll Do
- Produce and edit video sourced from internal materials, to build support for the Argo brand and technology
- Regularly produce video, graphics and other data-focused visuals to support all Argo digital media and social platforms, in coordination with the editorial calendar
- Contribute video and graphics for new business proposals, case studies, and presentations to partners and investors.
- Edit audio and video for episodes of No Parking Podcast, as needed
- Conceive, pitch and produce videos and graphics in line with trending industry topics and news – to support our digital publication, Ground Truth, and social media handles
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- BA/BS degree
- 3+ years of design and/or video editing experience with an established brand, agency or publication
- Excellent graphic and design skills with a robust portfolio of published work
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite or comparable creative software
- Ability to shoot and edit interviews and b-roll preferred
- Ability to identify content that will generate engagement
- Proactive, high-energy approach to the job

The Associate Producer will work directly with the Lead Producer for all of Nerd Street’s tournament streams running from Localhost Philadelphia aka “The Block”. This position focuses on live production support inside Nerd Street Gamers Production Control Room. Logistical aspects of this role include Replay Operation, PTZ camera systems, Ross Xpression, audio/video signal routing and technical directing whenever necessary.

- Assist the Lead Producer with all setup and pre-production roles including but not limited to: A/V signal routing through Ross Ultrix, graphics setup through Ross Xpression, camera painting and preset definition through PTZ controller and transmission setup.
- Assist with any and all live production roles as assigned by the Lead Producer including but not limited to: Technical Directing, Replay Operation, CG Operation, PTZ Operation, and transmission monitoring.
- Assist the Lead Producer with studio and equipment upkeep tasks, including but not limited to: Updating Windows and software on any and all machines, installing new software as necessary on any and all machines, cycling rechargeables to prevent overcharging (belt packs, AA/AAA batteries for IFBs/mics, camera batteries, etc), wiping down equipment and screens in studio space, emptying waste bins in dumpsters and other general maintenance related tasks.
