Calling all hungry, scrappy post-production magicians looking for a new opportunity to create cutting edge video content. The Deloitte Consulting Marketing Team is looking for a seasoned Video Post-Production Editor/MGFX artist to join our growing in-house video production team.

As our Video Post-Production Editor & MGFX Artist, you’ll work alongside our Video Lead to create compelling video content that will help our marketing and sales teams close the deal. The Team

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years experience using the Adobe Creative Suite in a creative agency or production company environment (Premiere & After Effects)
  • Strong working knowledge of color correction/grading, proxy files, sound mixing, Dynamic Link, and export settings.
  • Strong understanding of story, pace, and flow.
  • 2D kinety typography motion graphic skills.
  • Ability to graciously take direction and efficiently implement feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to keep multiple projects moving, but also work as part of a more integrated team on larger initiatives.
  • Highly organized to keep project files nice and tidy for archives or handoffs.

Preferred:

  • Video tech skills – camera, teleprompter, sound equipment operation.
  • Cool under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Navigate all personality types and work with a wide array of styles to create the best work possible.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000 to $116,000.

The Opportunity:

This role will provide integrated photo & video assets—concept through execution—that support brand and marketing client objectives for our premium, experiential brand. This position will lead on set studio teams and work with cross-functional AG teams to ensure consistency of the brand, both verbally and visually. This position partners with writers and asset creation teams to produce impactful creative for print, digital, and unique-format graphics.

Lead the more traditional/standard studio photography and videos; while still working with Assoc Manager-Photo/Video on concept of innovative photo techniques and scenario concepts.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Skilled in video/photo planning, art direction and image selection (dollsets and whitesweep + Stop-motion and craft videos will be priority projects)
  • Executes product photo & girl/parent video production for American Girl
  • Partner with creative leadership to concept key photo assets in doll set, and white sweep formats
  • Partner with AG tactic Designers to concept key photo assets in dollset, video and white sweep formats
  • Follow art direction of images thru color correction team/production to produce premium, production-ready assets
  • Engage in schedule milestones and independently manage projects for on-time delivery
  • Stay on top of trends for video to continue to evolve digital content

Job Description:

Straight To Tell is hiring a creative producer with a passion and an expertise for project management, creative production, storytelling and the public good to manage our team of creatives. The Creative Producer will work closely with the Studio Director, Director of Creative Operations, and Creative Director to support film/video projects, animation, and general production.

Role Overview:

Manage pre-production, production, and post-production; developing production budgets and schedules, project managing client work for the creative team, facilitating client’s creative vision and needs, working closely with exec producers and other key stakeholders, as well as in-house editors and management to ensure all assets go out on time and are up to studio standards. In addition, sourcing and hiring crew members for productions and analyzing, maintaining, and improving project management processes, systems, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects, timelines, budgets, and staff for creative client work.
  • Oversee post-production, coordinating, budgets, hirings, music clearance, submissions to film festivals, etc.
  • Manage all film/video and animation project communications (with clients and partners), document meeting notes and ensure the team is briefed and the project is on-track.
  • Manage external communications including preparing contracts, sending agreements, tracking status and collecting releases, sending and tracking invoices for applicable projects etc.
  • Execute logistics – T&C waivers, music clearances, budgets, talent contracts, coordinating with guests, etc.
  • Produce in-studio special projects. That may include overseeing video, animation, and design projects, podcasts, or events.
  • Work closely with the Outreach Coordinator to oversee story recruiting efforts for testimonial-based campaigns. This includes confirming appearance releases, confirming campaign messaging goals are being followed, and track interview counts.
  • Hire recruiters, animation personnel, talent, and video crew.
  • Support Studio Director and Director of Operations in staff management and development, as well as lead reporting for creative production where appropriate.
  • Manage studio gear rental and tracking, as well as merch fulfillment when necessary.

Qualifications

 

  • 3 or more years of experience as a creative producer, post producer or line producer in a live-action production environment or full-service post-production company, with an understanding of various post workflows (editorial, animation, CG, finishing). 
  • You must have bidding experience. 
  • Must have super-hero strength organizational and spreadsheet skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter who owns the work and is accountable to clients and team members alike.
  • Able to keep a flexible & adaptive mindset –  maintain a level head in challenging situations and mediate solutions and solve problems. 
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills. Understands the distinction between when a conversation is best had over the phone or by email, and how to do so efficiently. Asks all the right questions to avoid potential bottlenecks, and has a light touch in difficult conversations. 
  • Develops strong working relationships and personal connections inside and outside of Ghost Robot – whether clients, freelancers, vendors or collaborators – of all imaginable personality types. 
  • Media Services Showbiz Budgeting, Airtable, Adobe Creative Suite, G-Suite knowledge a plus.
