Attention candidates with a background in cinematography, lighting and editing: We want to hear from you! The video production specialist is a powerhouse contributor to Gillespie Productions’ content creation process. This role will be roughly 50 percent shooting and 50 percent editing…though, those percentages will ebb and flow as production needs fluctuate.
This person will need to be flexible to work on both a larger project – helping with shooting and editing – as well as shorter projects, all while maintaining efficiency and quality. For example, the video production specialist will often accompany a producer and a director of photography to shoot a second camera and then be responsible for post-production, based on the producer’s script. Other times, this person will act as a director of photography on a smaller shoot. The perfect candidate is one with high character, a seasoned skill set and an unending desire to hone his/her craft.
