Our media client is seeking a Video Producer/Editor to support their ongoing project needs on a full-time basis. This is an onsite role with requirement to work in Maryland (PG county area) Monday through Thursday with a remote day Friday

· Flexibility to travel for shoots as needed

· This is a pro-Union environment

Video Producer & Editor Overview:

You will have the exciting opportunity to work on a team of three driving the video production in support of our client’s Union partners.

Responsibilities:

· In support of clients – plan and edit videos from pre-production and shoot to post-production to ensure successful video content.

· Facilitate and produce branded videos ranging from short and long-form content, and editing existing or new content as necessary.

· Assist with research, scouting locations, and fielding shoots with the team as needed.

· Identify engaging moments from assets & content library to transform them into polished and professional video content.

· Brainstorm with team and clients to pitch content ideas.

· Own overall budgeting and reconciliation process for each piece of work assigned.

· Script writing including interview question based content.

· Work within Adobe Premiere for basic editing (you will have a partner who excels within motion graphics work).

· Shoot some videos yourself, when the shoots are not handled by another team member, and travel on assignment as needed.

Requirements:

· News room or Broadcast Media experience that requires short turnaround time

· Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

· A solid reel showcasing similar work to what you will be producing Convention work, Association, Union or other member driven content experience

· 8+ years of experience in video production with ability to showcase:

-Convention Experience

-Previous experience with pre-production through to post-production inclusive of budgeting

-Field Production Experience

-Script writing

-Editorial expertise making use of Adobe Premiere

One of the biggest names in entertainment is seeking a remote Video Producer to join their streaming team for a 6+ month contract. The Video Producer will manage the production of assigned projects that range from commercial campaigns, to graphic & animated web pieces, to simple digital content. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience as a producer in a production/post production studio (video editing, motion design, sound, VFX, etc), strong project management skills, and experience with project management software. This job is fully remote.

  • Rate range: $45-60 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Own production to post/production process
  • Work closely with Design PM’s to communication timelines, deliverables, and goals with internal & external partners
  • Assist in assigning the best team members for each project including editors, VFX specialists, motion designers, sounds designers, and colorists
  • Manage and track music licenses, contracts, and creative assets, and documentation and dashboards

Required Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years in a post production environment as a producer
  • Experience with project management, PM software, and team collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello
  • Understanding of production, post-production, and adaptation project workflows
  • Understanding of techniques and softwares including After Effects, Cinema 4D, Premiere, Nuke, Maya, Flame, etc
  • Understanding of Premiere and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & After Effects
  • Hands on knowledge of editing softwares
  • Strong project management & communications skills – ability to ask the right questions to keep projects on time
  • Post production experience managing a team of editors and animators
  • Experience working for a marketing agency
  • Experience as a Producer
  • Understand premier and after effects
  • Streaming experience and Airtable PM software a huge plus

Project Details:

  • Usage / Run: Streaming only until the major shoot on the actual cruise out to sea, then Standard Disney Release — all media, worldwide, in perpetuity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the commercial shoot aboard the docked Disney Wish cruise ship in Port Canaveral.
  • Attend mandatory in-person fitting for wardrobe.

Requirements:

  • Talent must be available as a local hire to Port Canaveral, where the Disney Wish cruise ship is docked.
  • Must be available for the entire shoot duration and in-person fitting. If you are unable to attend, please do not submit.
  • No passport required.

Compensation Details:

  • Project Rate: $1000+20% (20% agency fee will be deducted from the rate)
  • The rate includes mandatory in-person fitting.
  • Talent will not be provided with additional gas, food, or lodging budget. Please plan accordingly.

Additional Provisions:

  • Talent must be able to work as a local hire to Port Canaveral. Gas, food, and lodging are not included in the compensation.
  • Release will reflect the Standard Disney Release — all media, worldwide, in perpetuity.
