The Role:

Due to growth, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) Manager: Studio to join our Studio Finance FPA team in a newly created position. In this role you would be working as part of the team who are responsible for the budgeting and forecasting process, rolling revenue forecasts, long range planning, cashflow forecasting and adhoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning all components of the budget, forecasts and rolling model
  • Assistance with reporting and variance analysis
  • Assistance with the preparation of FPA related internal and external communications including board presentation materials and monthly report packs
  • Assistance with Long Range Planning (LRP)
  • Support strategic initiatives
  • Support senior management in content investment decisions
  • Ad hoc projects as they arise

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative nature, confident presentation capabilities and a proactive approach
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in budgeting, forecasting, and modeling or general finance experience of 5 years minimum
  • Fully qualified accountant would be an advantage
  • Advanced Excel experience essential
  • PowerPoint knowledge preferred
  • Creative problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • A team player, but also able to work autonomously
  • Experience using NetSuite & Smart Accounting preferred
  • Experience in animation or live action is preferred
  • Media experience in animation or live action is preferred

About this Job:

The Product Business Development Manager is responsible for the development of products in the organization:

· Perform market research on the latest product best practices in the membership, travel and loyalty programs

· Partner with Product Development to understand ONE’s current and future technical system capabilities

· Partner with business development and account management to understand the partner needs

· Analyze the customer and financial success of past products

· Propose a product and build a financial model at the unit economics level, utilizing the learnings described above

· Create a product that can deliver exceptional value for the company, our partners, and the end consumer.

· Optimize model performance based on past data analysis (economics and customer response)

· Assist in the development of long-term goals and strategic objectives for the organization

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, finance, product management and/or a combination of education and experience

· 2-5 year in product management

· Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Knowledge of the travel, loyalty or membership industry

· Comfortable in a start up work environment

The Director of Sales and Events at Hyatt Centric The Woodlands has direct oversight of the Sales and Event operations of the hotel. Responsibilities include the Sales, Marketing and Events Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, developing and writing business plans, and ownership meetings. Additionally, this role leads the development and implementation of both short-term and long-term strategies in all sales, catering and marketing channels to achieve hotel’s revenue goals and increase market share performance.

The Director of Sales and Events leads sales and event managers, trainees, interns, and administrative staff. They manage recruitment and hiring of sales and event services staff, training, managing and coaching managers in their selling and servicing process in order to meet company goals and maximize hotel revenues. Must be able to train and monitor the group and transient contractual agreement process, quoting rates, sending referrals, setting traces, and the management of retention, reactivation, and acquisition accounts. The Director of Sales and Events reports directly to the General Manager with oversight from the Regional Vice President of Sales and Events.

Qualifications

  • 6 years or more of progressive hotel Sales experience (typically with Hyatt)
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
  • Develop the annual business plan and oversee execution of tactics.
  • Sales and Marketing P&L management
  • Revenue forecasting and development of both short -term and long -term business strategies. Ensuring accurate annual revenue budgets and monthly forecasts are produced that support revenue goals of the hotel and outgrow the competition.
  • Training and supervision of; sales and events managers.
  • Oversee the production and execution of a marketing plan for the hotel and ensure marketing efforts are evaluated for their effectiveness in driving revenue.
  • Act as the senior customer facing representative for all current and prospective clients, including, but not limited to site inspections and customer entertainment.
  • Must be proficient in sales/events and marketing systems. This is a hands-on property without systems administrator.
