Job Details: Angela Boehm Casting seeks talented Non-Union Actors to feature in a Junior Achievement commercial. The commercial will be filmed in Northeast Ohio and is aimed at creating training videos for internal purposes. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your acting skills professionally.

Roles:

  1. [Liam] (Chatty Server):
    • Liam is an easygoing, friendly server who creates a welcoming customer atmosphere.
    • He takes a relaxed approach, making customers feel comfortable to enjoy their meals or work on their laptops without any rush.
    • Liam engages in conversations with customers, enhancing their overall experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Portray the character as described and contribute to the desired atmosphere and tone of the commercial.
  • Follow directions from the director and work collaboratively with the production team.
  • Bring creativity and authenticity to the role to make the character come to life on screen.

Requirements:

  • Non-Union actors with strong acting abilities.
  • Previous experience in commercial or film acting is preferred.
  • Ability to take direction and work well within a team.
  • Must be available for the shoot date based on the provided schedule.

Compensation:

  • Full Day Rate: $550 (plus 20% agent fee)
  • Half-Day Rate: $400 (plus 20% agent fee)
  • Full-day on-set hours: Approximately 8-9 hours (exact hours to be confirmed)
  • Half-day on-set hours: Approximately 4-5 hours (exact hours to be confirmed)

Casting Call: Junior Achievement Commercial – Non-Union Actors

Job Detail: Angela Boehm Casting is seeking Non-Union Actors for an upcoming Junior Achievement commercial filming in Northeast Ohio. The commercial aims to create training videos for internal use within the organization. The shoot is scheduled for Wednesday, September 6th, Thursday, September 7th, and Friday, September 8th. Selected talents will only be required to work on one of these days.

Job Responsibilities: We are looking for actors to fill the following role:

[Alisha] (Efficient Server): Alisha is portrayed as a highly efficient server known for her quick pace. She walks briskly, talks rapidly, and quickly turns over tables. Some customers admire her ability to get them in and out swiftly, especially before concerts or for a quick meal. However, others perceive her as brusque or rushing them. The actor cast in this role will embody Alisha’s dynamic personality and effectively convey the dichotomy of customer opinions about her efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Non-Union actors
  • Must be available for one whole day on set (8-9 hours maximum) or half-day (4-5 hours)
  • Ability to portray the character traits described above

Compensation Details:

Responsibilities

Our Creative Director will report to our home office in Columbus, Ohio and will be responsible for managing creative projects for Rise Brands and its family of brands. This position reports to our Marketing + Creative leader. The job responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, aligning team and company goals to increase sales and enhance guest experience
  • Conceptualize campaigns and creative needs; lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate new ideas/creative direction for new and existing concepts across a multitude of tactics (e.g. digital, print, video, in-store experiences)
  • Direct and provide precise feedback/direction on all creative campaigns
  • Provide active leadership and timely coaching + development to a team of 5-6 creative professionals
  • Work with Leadership and HR to evaluate and identify staffing needs for the creative team structure and lead talent acquisition efforts for future creative roles
  • Build and manage relationships with outside partners/vendors in tandem with the Creative Project Manager.
  • Overall accountability of organization and allocation of resources for creative project schedules and budgets
  • Oversee the delivery of creative for internal/external communications aligned with company strategic goals
  • Collaborate across departments to establish and uphold holistic brand guidelines for existing and growing brands
  • Ensure creative content reflect the brands consistently and positively
  • Foster a positive and inspiring work environment
  • Maintain a curious and innovative mindset; stay up to date on trends, technologies, and tools that will help you and the company deliver best in class creative content/experiences across our brands

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, in design or related field
  • 10+ years of progressive creative leadership experience, preferably several years in a director capacity.
  • Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
  • Proven experience developing creative assets across a multitude of tactics, including but not limited to, print, digital, branded imagery, product design and in-store installation.
  • Detail oriented leader with proven ability to execute multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience leading a team of in-house and agency creative professionals
  • Ability to develop a strong network of external partners

Preferred

  • Interior or environmental design experience
  • Experience supporting brands within the hospitality space
  • Experience supporting multiple brands simultaneously

Job Detail: We are seeking talented autistic actors to understudy the roles of autistic characters in the upcoming Broadway-bound musical, HOW TO DANCE IN OHIO. This groundbreaking production is inspired by the critically acclaimed and Peabody Award-winning Documentary of the same name. The musical is set to open at The Belasco Theatre in Fall 2023 and promises to be a powerful and moving portrayal of the human experience.

Job Responsibilities: As an understudy for autistic characters, you will work closely with the cast and creative team to understand and embody the essence of the characters. You’ll be responsible for attending all rehearsals, observing the main cast performances, and being prepared to step into the roles when required. Delivering authentic and nuanced performances that stay true to the character’s experiences, emotions, and individuality is crucial.

Requirements:

  • Identification as an autistic individual is mandatory for consideration.
  • Previous acting experience is a plus but not required.
