ROOF Studio is a multi-award-winning boutique animation studio in Brooklyn, NY, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Our work is highly detailed, vibrant, and, as you can see, very passionate. We were the most-awarded animation company of 2021.
This year, we hoped to find an experienced professional to join us. We are looking to meet Executive Producers working in Advertisement, following the skillset listed below:
Extensive experience bidding on animation scripts, from 2D to 3D productions. Must have experience bidding small to large budget projects. A deep understanding of the 3D animation processes is required.
The ability to keep track of the production calendar and within budget. Will be communicating directly with and overseeing our head of production in Brazil.
Confidence in being the face of the production side of the company with all of our clients. Always reflect the company’s ethos of friendliness while managing difficult conversations.
Ensure we achieve our financial goals for projects, track invoicing to clients, and sometimes chase late payments. Negotiate overages when necessary.
Problem-solving: work methodically and logically, finding creative solutions, especially when things don’t go according to plan.
Have experience in Sales. This person needs to be able to handle new business requests and evaluate new client contacts and also be able to help strategize new opportunities to expand ROOF brand. Overseeing the relationship with our reps and sales partners. Demonstrating great leadership and creative flair, enabling us to pull off that brilliant pitch when needed.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced and opinionated professional with a great sense of strategy who will attend partner meetings and help to find ways to expand the brand through social media, PR, Awards, event opportunities, or any other way. We are always open to hearing ideas for brand growth opportunities.

ROOF Studio
Role: Associate Producer
Location: Remote – Pawtucket, RI
Duration: 12-month contract
Job Description:
· The Associate Producer will be responsible for working directly with the Production team to coordinate all aspects of Product and Lifestyle Photography projects, executed both in-house and at external studio locations.
· They will partner with Brand, Package Design and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality visual assets in a deadline driven and cost-effective manner. This includes hiring all vendors and crew, scheduling Photographers and studio space, coordinating samples, managing files through editing and final delivery.
Required skills:
· Serve as primary liaison between the Photo Studio and internal clients.
· Facilitate clear, constructive, and on-going communication with the Production team regarding project status and asset delivery.
· On a weekly basis, partner with the Finance Coordinator to track costs associated with completed photo shoots.
· Correspond with internal clients relative to production needs.
· Partner with the Model Studios team to coordinate and transport samples for photo shoots.
Schedule projects, based on priority.
· Confirm that proper documents are in place for all talent and crew.
· Execute photography projects, including being on-set to ensure efficiency, timing and budget.
· Trouble-shoot and resolve issues relating to physical production through final file delivery.
· Route image files through the editing process, including communicating specific instructions.
· Route files through internal approvals and manage final upload of assets for delivery.
· Maintain archiving files and communication with the Digital Asset Management team.
· Track the status of projects within the workflow to ensure final delivery within deadline.
Desired Skills:
· Successful at organizing large, involved events/productions.
· Working knowledge of both PC and Mac operating systems.
· Experience working with image files in Photoshop.
· Success in managing a large volume of assets through post-production.
· Proficient working knowledge of MS Office file formats.
· Significant experience and success in managing a variety of projects.
· Demonstrates an advance aptitude in design, layout and composition as it applies to photography.
· Working knowledge of Capture One is a plus.
· Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Production experience, in digital studio photography a plus.
· Two or more years producing photography shoots, both in-house and on-location.
· Two or more years negotiating with vendors such as talent agencies, stylists, set dressers, caterers, etc. Or equivalent experience in non-creative / production roles, utilizing transferable skills.
