The qualifications for open Sport Director positions are as follows. A Director should meet one or multiple of the criteria below.
Professional Playing Experience
Professional athletes are the elite players in the world at their respective sports. With professional playing careers comes a wealth of knowledge gained from experience as well as professional instruction. Top-level league experience is preferred, however some sports have various levels of professional leagues. A Director may qualify if his/her experience at a minor league level is deemed sufficient.
Olympic Or National Team Playing Experience
International participation is also world class, and for some sports it’s the ultimate achievement. Any experience for an Olympic or National Team at the adult level is sought after by Area Scouts.
PROFESSIONAL Or OLYMPIC/NATIONAL TEAM COACHING EXPERIENCE
Extensive coaching experience at the highest levels. Being a former athlete of this caliber is a plus.
Elite Collegiate Playing Experience
Whereas we prefer professional playing experience, we value successful careers at the highest level of collegiate sports. Most notably, in sports that don’t offer the same professional opportunities that others may. We value decorated college athletes.
AVAILABILITY
Performing this role requires the Director to create their content in a timely manner. A new Director must be available and dedicated to working with the Area Scouts staff to produce quality content within a certain time frame. We will work around your existing schedules to achieve this goal.

Area Scouts
Huntingdon Country Club is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to help the club achieve its goals for growth and profitability. The successful candidate will join a club which has experienced substantial growth in memberships and golf rounds in the past four years under new ownership and management. This a seasonal position working during the golf season (April through October). A full-time job opportunity may be available.
Requirements
- A strong interest for the game of golf.
- A welcoming personality and motivation to provide a first-class golf experience for members and guests.
- A positive and professional attitude with excellent sales, customer service, computer and communication skills.
- A desire to do whatever it takes with a strong attention to detail.
- A strong work ethic to work a 45-hour workweek including weekends during the golf season from April 1 through October 31, 2023.
Education and Experience
- This entry level management position requires a bachelors degree in management and/or marketing or related fields
- A candidate who aspires to become a PGA Professional is a plus.
- No prior club experience required but have a strong interest in golf with a passion to grow and learn.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assists the General Manager/Director of Golf with the management of the golf division including retail golf operations. tournament and league management, member relations, and marketing programs.
- Actively involved in the management and marketing of club golf tournaments and leagues including weekly men’s leagues, ladies’ events, couples’ events, charity events, Club Invitational, and championship tournaments.
- Develops a thorough knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software.
- Provides a welcoming and responsive environment to members and guests in the golf shop; answers phones, reserves tee times, books lessons, and sells greens fees, cart fees, memberships, golf merchandise, snacks, and beverages.
- Assists with retail golf operations; sells, displays, promotes, and merchandises inventory. Conducts monthly inventory.
- Possess a thorough understanding of the GolfNow G1 point of sale system (POS); helps train and maintain the POS and assists with any operational issues.
- Performs daily golf shop opening and/or closing procedures as designated. Accurately completes POS end of day processing.
- Along with golf staff, responsible for the correct appearance, organization, and cleanliness of the golf shop, snack shop, stock room, equipment, fixtures, and golf carts. Reports deficiencies and maintenance concerns.
- Works with Cart Maintenance Manager to ensure golf carts are in good working condition and available for daily golf rounds and tournaments.
- Assists members with special merchandise orders; places orders and processes returns.
- Helps members set-up charge accounts, charges members’ credit cards monthly for outstanding account balances monthly.
- Professionally and tactfully informs and enforces club policies with members, guests, and staff.
- Conducts junior camps, golf clinics and golf lessons.
- Assists with recruitment, hiring, training, and supervising of the golf shop staff. Responsible for scheduling staff to ensure daily coverage. Ready and willing to assist the golf shop staff when necessary.
- Serves as the club’s representative on the Central Counties Golf Association board.
- Ensures good relations with the Huntingdon Area High School and Juniata College golf teams.
- Must be RAMP certified within 60 days to sell alcoholic beverages in the golf shop.
- Keeps informed of golf industry standards and trends. Pursues related continuing education and training opportunities. Maintains necessary certifications and applicable professional affiliations.
- Performs other duties assigned by the General Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Sourcing, shopping, build and construction of all costume items required for assigned accounts and projects.
- Liaise and negotiate with current and potential vendors to ensure items sourced are most cost effective and durable.
- Prepare concepts and designs for assigned accounts, including character renderings, research, costume plots, and designs throughout the process.
- Coordinate all costume needs between outsourced designers, build shops, vendors, in-house and on-site alteration teams, production management, and talent.
- Oversee fittings and alteration needs for assigned accounts.
- Attend dress rehearsals when applicable
- Effectively manage costume expenses and expense reports for assigned projects, ensuring deliverables remain within budgetary guidelines.
- Oversee coordination of all account shipments & manifests.
- Assist in inventory and management of an expansive stock of costumes, shoes, wigs, jewelry and accessories.
- Record & document (electronic and hard copy) all information relating to account costume data as reference for future production and documentation purposes.
- Provide leadership and training to divisional interns.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, coworkers and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams at a given time

Qualifications
- Minimum BFA/BA degree in Theatrical Design or Technology or comparable work experience working in a theatre or entertainment production company wardrobe or costume department
- Experience in the entertainment and live event production industry
- Proficiency in iWork and MS Office applications
- Ability to meet deadlines, sometimes with narrow time and budget constraints
- Cultural fluency in style and maintenance needs across diverse hair and wig types
- Advanced knowledge of hand and machine sewing techniques. Garment finishing with an understanding of theatrical costume construction techniques and terms
- Ability to embellish shopped garments or stock costumes
- Experience in theme park and cruise ship wardrobe genres preferred
- An exceptional eye for design and style
- Craft skills, mask making, dyeing, paint, millinery, and shoe maintenance knowledge
- Extremely detail oriented and responsible
- Strong team player
A valid passport for the duration of employment for all travel-related roles. Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (or proof of exemption) will be required.

VFX Production Coordinator
Evil Eye Pictures is looking for a full-time tech savvy VFX Production Coordinator. In this position you will be responsible for providing a wide range of technical and administrative support across the production management team and crew. At least two years of production experience either in games, real-time engines, visual effects, VR/AR, or animation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setup of dailies and client reviews utilizing tools including Shotgrid, Syncsketch, Google Calendar and Zoom
- Following up with artists on a daily basis to ensure task deliveries remain on schedule, and communicating any changes to artists, supervisors and the production team
- Responsible for maintaining the production database including managing assets and versions, inputting client notes and coordinating with artists and leads to ensure those notes are received and executed
- Organizes team meetings with department leads and/or producers, takes thorough notes, and distributes them to the team
- Manages deliveries to and from clients via MediaShuttle, Slack, GDrive and other tools
- Provides administrative support to the production management team as needed
- Under the guidance of the producers, schedules and tracks progress of tasks for assigned artists
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years production experience in games, real-time engines, visual effects, or animation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including thorough and accurate notes taken and distributed from review sessions
- Attention to detail, follow-through, and pro-activity
- Strong knowledge of Google GSuite and related apps
- Experience with production tracking and asset management software such as Shotgrid or FTrack
- Experience with web-based review software such as Syncsketch or Cinesync
- Understanding of CG production fundamentals including asset development, modeling, layout, shaders, animation, fx, lighting, rendering and compositing
Good to have:
- BA or BS degree in game development, VFX, film, art, communications, or related fields strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine and other real-time and graphics production workflows is a big plus
- Familiarity with the workflow/software/tools of working remotely (Zoom, Slack, Teradici, VPN, Remote Desktop, etc)
- General knowledge of industry standard content creation software (Maya, Adobe, etc) is very helpful
This is a full time position. This position is remote as we support a Virtual Studio.
Candidate must be available to work EST Time Zone work schedule.
