Chicago Casting Calls & Acting Auditions

We are looking for kids to audition for a NZ retail brand TV commercial. It will be filmed in Wellington at Level 2, so your child must be based in the area.

We’re looking for everyday Kiwi kids of any ethnicity, fun loving and energetic to act as part of a family scene at Xmas.

• A boy AGED 7 to fit size 7 clothing 
  • (approx 125 cm height, 66 cm chest, 59 cm waist)
• A girl AGED 11/12 to fit size 12 clothing 
  • (approx 150 cm height, 80 cm chest, 64 cm waist

The sizes are very important as they must fit pre-bought clothing for the costume department.

If your child is selected for the role they will be required for 2 days filming on the 5th and 6th October in Wellington. A professional caregiver will be on set to look after them.

If selected for the shoot they will be paid $3500 each, minus tax.

The commercials will screen on NZ television and the internet for 3 months. It will also include a print campaign.

Seeking the following roles:

• 1. Female and Non Binary Individuals. Ages 25 to 100. Talent should love to move, groove and dance like no one is watching. Some dance experience is an asset, though NOT required.
• 2. Female Drummer. Age 25 to 100. Has intermediate-advanced skills with the sticks. 
• 3. Female Breakdancers. Ages 20 to 100. Various skill-set and level of ability is welcome. If there is a dance crew, then great! Can also apply as an individual. 
• 4. Female Skateboarder. Age 25 to 100. No tricks required, just a smooth glide, someone who is able to ride a skateboard. 
• 5. Female Double Dutch team. Ages 18+. Ideally 3 to 4 people. 1 or 2 to do the skipping and 2 on the ropes. Must be experienced. Can apply alone or as a team.
• 6. Mom and Baby. Mom any age, baby 15 days old to 4 months. You can dance with your baby in your arms on the self tape.

• Searching for Males, African American, Latino, and Asian, ages 16 to 20, to work as basketball players (you won’t be playing basketball) on Chicago Fire on Monday, Sept. 27th. There will be a Covid test on Wed., Sept. 22nd (will just take one hour), and a fitting on Friday, Sept. 24th (will only take about two hours).

This is a fun accident scene, the teens will be in the area of an accident. It should be exciting.
