The Messenger Product Creative team manages the development of expressive creative (AR, stickers, themes, interactive games) and product identity (product illustration systems, social campaigns) across Messenger and Messenger Kids. Our 50+ person interdisciplinary team delivers excellence of work through craft, product strategy, and cross-functional rigor. We partner with product, design, and engineering leads to bring innovation to the connective experiences people have on Messenger. Specifically, this role leads the AR and Messenger Kids Producer team as both a manager and an operational leader, providing mentorship, coaching and strategic support to the Producer team, and partnering with the Creative Director on holistic vision and operational execution. You’ll be expected to lead a team that can proactively define better ways to quickly communicate, collaborate and ship products and systems, using state of the art tools and at the highest quality standards. As an authentic and inspiring leader, you see management as an opportunity to develop team strengths and increase impact, while adapting your leadership style to match individuals’ unique needs or situations. You are a natural at building influence in cross-functional partnerships.   • Build meaningful cross-functional relationships across FB App and Marketing Leadership
  • Leverage relationships to inform problem solving and improve our design team’s focus and velocity
  • Manage and mentor Producers that are both supporting and leading our design teams
  • Be a role model and mentor to Producers across FB Inc. (not just the app)
  • Partner with Creative leadership and deploy your expertise, even in ambiguous situations
  • Manage and evolve our production strategy, process, standards, and tools
  • Develop lightweight, repeatable processes, standards, workflows and tools that keep the team nimble and successful in a culture that values moving fast and iterating quickly
  • Manage and grow the Visual Systems team to support the FB App all up, high priority product groups, system leads, and embedded studio teams
  • Provide operational strategy for complex problems associated with a growing organization and limited design resources
  • Ensure we are resourcing both the short term needs as well as looking ahead, and planning for the next big challenge across product design teams

  • 7 or more years experience as a producer in interactive, agency, design, or other related fields
  • 5 or more years of direct management experience with small to medium size teams, including managers and ideally distributed teams
  • Knowledge of creative process and strategy
  • Expertise in providing creative feedback and critique
  • Experience in developing design standards and design tools
  • Understanding of AR, animation, game production processes
  • Experience working with external vendors, including sourcing and negotiating
  • Experience managing large, complex budgets across multiple cost centers

As an Executive Producer at Oculus, you’ll play a critical role in building the future of virtual reality content, entertainment, and applications. You’ll engage, support, and serve as the primary manager between Oculus and key developers and content partners. The ideal candidate has extensive game development experience and experience managing third party developers.

  • Own end-to-end production of development projects and partners
  • Manage all milestones and deliverables ensuring they are on time and at a high quality
  • Gather and provide both design and development feedback to developers and content partners
  • Contribute to Worldwide Studios overall content strategy
  • Conceptualize interesting and achievable VR interactions suited to our brand and our team

  • 10+ years of experience in game development
  • Experience shipping products and/or ushering clients through product and platform launches

  • Experience identifying key risks in the project from the beginning and can create mitigation plans to prevent risks from endangering the overall product
  • Understands development team structure and process

  • Experience identifying the key features needed for a title to be successful because of market signal
  • Experience prioritizing and guiding efforts to support these key features and knows what not to focus on

Wondersauce is seeking an Executive Producer to join our NYC team!

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and development of a client portfolio that consists of brands and projects spanning digital products, eCommerce, campaigns, content, and production.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead engagement plans that align with agency and client business needs

  • Assemble strategy, creative, technology, and product teams to execute compelling work for projects across the portfolio
  • Support project teams and key stakeholders (internally and at client) across high-level visions, day-to-day issues, planning, and conflict resolution
  • Ensure the product, strategy, creative, and production teams are driving towards a singular vision and are equipped with all the information, tools, and support necessary to execute best-in-industry digital strategies and experiences.
  • Establish key relationships with various members of the client teams to ensure we’re being brought in on new, potential projects and relationships
  • Identify and sell through areas to broaden the scope of work on any given project/brand; drive scoping and proposals for new business opportunities
  • Partner with agency discipline leads to coordinate and manage internal and client teams
  • Engage with clients on a regular dialogue about their business and help them address challenges and identify areas of opportunity
  • Ensure overall team satisfaction and success

  • Assure Agency functions are performed on a profitable basis and assure the primary responsibility for managing the collective Agency work and Client relationship.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Senior Product Manager
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proven mastery of waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering large and complex products and services
  • A keen eye for detail, and strong follow-up skills
  • The ability to understand complex and technical concepts, and then explain them in layperson’s terms to internal team members and clients
  • The ability to implement and adhere to product management processes and best practices
  • The ability to serve as a trusted partner to both day-to-day client contacts and senior executives
  • The ability and willingness to guide/support and mentor junior producers
