HOMESTEAD – Extras Casting Call

Job Detail: We are seeking Women Homesteaders, aged 18-50, to join the cast of the featured film “Homestead: Black Autumn”. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a period piece set in a historic homestead. All roles are non-speaking and will be selected based on submitted photos that match the role description.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as background extras in various scenes, portraying Women Homesteaders.
  • Follow directions from the director and production team.
  • Maintain continuity in appearance and actions for multiple days of shooting if required.
  • Be punctual and prepared for the assigned call time.

Requirements:

  • Gender: Female
  • Age: 18-50
  • Must be available to work on October 11th (Wednesday) in the Bountiful area.
  • Flexibility in scheduling as call times may vary for each day of shooting.
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour day.

Compensation Details:

  • Extra: $130 for a 12-hour work day.
  • Featured Extra: $160 for a 12-hour work day.
  • Required to work multiple dates for continuity: $180 for a 12-hour work day.

Filming Schedule:

Film Location:

Print design experience promoting fine jewelry, luxury goods, or fine art is a plus.

Summary:

This is NOT a digital UI/UX, web, or e-commerce design position. The purpose of this job is to personally design (not art direct other staff) a high volume and variety of print materials:

  • 80% of the time will be spent on the design and layout of auction catalogs between 100 and 400+ pages.
  • 20% of the time will be spent on designing and production of print ads for publications, direct mail, brochures, and other types of collateral.

Skills & Abilities:

  • The successful candidate is a deadline-driven, reliable self-starter.
  • Able to work independently with extreme attention to detail.
