This person will have the opportunity to work in-house for a variety of industries such as sports, TV, radio, nonprofit, etc.

This is a hybrid opportunity, with two days per week in office. The office is located in the northern suburbs of Illinois.

Video Producer Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire creative vision of each project including video and motion graphics
  • Manage casting and location scouting
  • Run entire production line with a team of freelance members
  • Monitor day to day operations including the creation of video commercials
  • Work directly with the film and creative teams

Video Producer Requirements

  • 3-5 years of video editing and base line production experience from start to finish
  • Experience working with an agency and/or in-house client-side experience required
  • Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the production team

The selected candidates will help source, brainstorm, produce, self-edit and publish original new content for our knowledgeable audience and have the opportunity for tremendous career growth within the organization. Expectations

  • Researching, writing, self-editing and posting 3-5 articles per week in CBR’s house style (following the requisite training and peer mentorship period)
    • This will include fact checking, formatting, linking and image sourcing/very basic editing (sizing, brightness, etc.)
  • Pitch story ideas when none are readily available
    • Exploring relevant news and social media feeds, including Instagram, Reddit, Twitter, TikTok and more, and tuning in to popular podcasts, streams and YouTube shows to enhance coverage.
  • Accept and apply any/all feedback received by the editorial team
  • Communicate openly and actively with the editorial team

  • A passion for the content and a drive for industry growth

In addition, the Director, Social Media, will be measured on finding and executing innovative ways to use information and segmentation to optimize customer experience while managing costs and driving revenue.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES *

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients; anticipate and address client needs and challenges; plan and develop integrated programs that exceed client objectives
  • Develop measurable social and content specific engagement programs that are on strategy and within budget
  • Manage financials, including budget allocation, client billing, team billability and account profitability
  • Generate incremental business opportunities within existing client base; lead agency new business proposals and pitches; and deliver insightful and persuasive presentations to clients and prospects
