Job Description

An independent microbudget feature film is seeking experienced Pennsylvania-based crew members for a summer production filming in central Pennsylvania. The project is a contained drama with elements of suspense and horror, taking place primarily on a farm location.

Production is hiring multiple key crew positions across camera, lighting, sound, art, wardrobe, and production departments. This is a paid opportunity with lodging provided for crew members.

Job Responsibilities

Depending on the role, selected crew members will:

  • Collaborate with the director and production team to execute the creative vision.
  • Support daily production operations on set.
  • Maintain professional standards and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Work closely with department heads and fellow crew members.
  • Follow production schedules and safety protocols throughout filming.

Requirements

Production is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

  • 1st Assistant Director (1st AD)
  • Gaffer
  • Key Grip
  • Sound Mixer
  • Production Designer
  • Wardrobe Stylist
  • Hair and Makeup Artist (HMU Artist)
  • 1st Assistant Camera (1st AC)
  • 2nd Assistant Camera (2nd AC)

Additional Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in the applied department.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an independent film environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be available for the production schedule.
  • Pennsylvania-based crew members preferred.

Compensation Details

Job Description

A comedy production titled No Commando is seeking actors and production crew members for a non-paid project. The production is casting multiple lead, supporting, and background roles for a comedic story centered around relationships, law enforcement, and over-the-top situations.

The team is also looking for crew members interested in gaining experience on an independent production set. Serious inquiries only.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform scripted scenes for a comedy production
  • Collaborate with directors and fellow cast members during filming
  • Attend scheduled rehearsals and production days
  • Maintain professionalism on set
