Job Description:
An independent audio drama series titled Ask Me About The Birds is seeking an experienced Chicago-based producer to support the development and execution of an 8-episode Midwestern Gothic series. Each episode runs approximately 30 minutes and features a large ensemble cast. The producer will play a key role in coordinating production efforts and ensuring smooth execution across all stages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with casting coordination and talent management
- Oversee scheduling and production timelines
- Manage budgeting and production logistics
- Support communication between departments and team members
- Help guide the project from pre-production through completion
Requirements:
- Based in Chicago, Illinois
- Experience in audio drama, film, or similar production environments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple aspects of production simultaneously
- Experience working on independent or low-budget productions preferred
