“FANTASTICAL RHAPSODY” Open Casting Call

Job Description
The upcoming dance film Fantastical Rhapsody is casting a female-presenting actor/dancer for the paid supporting role of “Sprite.” The project tells the story of a woman traveling through a surreal, timeless dream world as she searches for strength and answers through music and dance.

Inspired by the style and storytelling of 1920s–1960s musical filmmaking, the production celebrates the endurance and courage of the female spirit. Filming will take place in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform in the supporting role of “Sprite” in the dance film

• Execute choreographed dance sequences on camera

• Participate in rehearsals and filming sessions in Los Angeles

• Work collaboratively with the director, choreographer, and creative team

Requirements

• Female-presenting performers of all ethnicities encouraged to apply

• Strong actor/dancer with classical training

• Proficiency in jazz and ballet-style movement

• Ability to perform both acting and dance performance on camera

• Applicants should submit a reel demonstrating dancing and acting if available

• Selected candidates may be asked to learn and tape a short choreography piece
