Job Responsibilities

Compensation

• $800.

“Sound and Fury” Extras Casting Call

A dark comedy feature filming in the Halifax Regional Municipality is casting background performers for a variety of scenes, including theatre, bar, film set, audition, police, acting class, diner, and café settings. Selected performers will help bring multiple environments to life throughout the production.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear as a background performer in assigned scenes.
• Portray roles such as theatre technicians, actors, bar patrons, movie crew members, auditioning actors, police officers, acting class participants, diner customers, or café patrons.
• Follow direction from the production and casting teams while on set.
• Maintain professional conduct throughout filming.

Requirements

• Must be between 10 and 70 years old.
• Must be available for one or more filming dates between October 14 and October 27.
• Must be able to work in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia.
• Open to performers who can convincingly portray the background roles required for each scene.

Compensation

• $17 per hour.
• Minimum four-hour call.

Accomplice Content is casting New Brunswick-based talent for two roles in the upcoming “Project Gifting” video spot. The non-union production will film in Moncton, NB, and is seeking performers ages 30-50 of any gender and ethnicity. Selected talent will audition ahead of the shoot with a slate that includes their name, height, city of residence, agent (or self-rep),and the fronts and backs of their hands.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear in two featured talent roles for the “Project Gifting” video spot.
• Submit an audition slate including name, height, city of residence, agent (or self-rep),and a display of the fronts and backs of hands.
• Follow direction from the production team during filming.

Requirements

• Ages 30-50.
• Open to all genders and ethnicities.
• Must be based in New Brunswick and available to work in Moncton, NB.
• Must be non-union.
• Must submit an audition by Friday, October 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

Compensation

• $350-$500 for the shoot.
• Usage: 3-month buy with an option to renew for the following year at the rate plus 10%.
