The upcoming psychological horror feature film Ravenshade is casting the lead role of “Sophie” for a fall production shooting in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. This emotionally intense indie film explores themes of vulnerability, emotional isolation, and inner turmoil through a dark and atmospheric narrative.

Casting directors are seeking a deeply expressive actor capable of delivering a transformative and emotionally raw performance in the central role of the film.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray the lead character “Sophie” in a psychological horror feature film
• Deliver emotionally layered and authentic performances
• Collaborate closely with the director and production team
• Participate in dramatic and emotionally demanding scenes
• Maintain professionalism throughout rehearsals and filming

Requirements

• Female or female-presenting actor in their 20s
• Strong emotional range and dramatic acting ability
• Comfortable performing emotionally intense material
