Short Film Editor Needed for Student Production “Love Signature”

Job Description
A student-led short film production is seeking an in-person editor to help complete a cut of the romantic drama Love Signature. This is a hands-on editing session with the potential to continue working on the project remotely afterward. Students are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Project Details

• Title: Love Signature

• Genre: Romantic Drama

• Logline: A lawyer crashes a wellness retreat to save her fiancé’s job, only to realize she may be fighting for the wrong person.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate in person to help finalize a cut of the short film during the scheduled session

• Work with 4K footage shot in Sony S-Log formats

• Assist with editing workflow using proxies if needed

• Potentially continue post-production work remotely after the session

Requirements

• Must be available in person in Santa Monica

• Must bring a powerful laptop capable of handling 4K Sony codecs

• Comfortable editing heavy footage with minimal playback issues

• Software required: Adobe Premiere Pro
