An evocative outdoor production of Death of a Salesman is casting the role of Ben, Willy Loman’s older brother. As a dreamlike presence throughout the play, Ben represents ambition, mystery, and unattainable success. Job Responsibilities
• Portray Ben with a commanding yet ethereal stage presence
• Embody themes of fantasy, success, and subconscious influence
• Collaborate in ensemble rehearsals and contribute to abstract staging moments
• Perform in an open-air venue during scheduled evening shows
Requirements
• Experience with symbolic or non-literal character work
• Ability to balance grounded delivery with mystical undertones
• Comfortable performing outdoors in evening environments
• Available for rehearsals on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (starting early July)
• Must attend tech week (August 5–11) and performances (August 12–14 evenings)

- Male and female actors, ages 28–40

- Ability to portray themes of vulnerability, conflict, and transformation
- Comfortable performing emotionally intense scenes
- Must prepare a 1–2 minute dramatic monologue for auditions
- Previous acting experience is preferred but not required
