The goal is to create poetry that expands and enriches the conversation between art forms.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Compose up to three ekphrastic poems, engaging with one or multiple works of art.
  • Ensure that the submission does not exceed a total of five pages.
  • Submit original, unpublished poems for consideration.
  • Follow any specific guidelines provided by Frontier Poetry for submission formatting and delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong grasp of poetic forms, styles, and techniques.
  • Ability to engage with art critically and emotionally through poetry.
  • A portfolio of previous works (published or unpublished) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Openness to editorial feedback if selected.
  • No specific educational background is required; however, a history of literary coursework or workshops may be beneficial.

Compensation:

  • The winning poet will receive a prize of $3,500.
  • The winning work will be published, granting significant exposure and prestige to the poet.
  • Note that there is no entry fee, but poets are responsible for any costs associated with creating and submitting their work.

Job Responsibilities
For Actors:

  • Portray supporting or background characters in a detective crime drama

  • Collaborate on set with the cast and director to bring scripted scenes to life

  • Deliver performances suited to a dramatic, realistic storytelling tone

For Crew:

  • Join the production team in roles such as:

    • Production Assistant

    • Grip

    • Set Dresser

    • Food Caterer

    • Makeup Artist / Special Effects for blood hits, etc.

  • Help maintain on-set operations and assist in creative execution

Requirements

  • Male and female actors of all ethnicities and ages (excluding children)

  • Must submit a recent headshot (no older than 10 years) and reel (if available)

  • Actors without reels will be considered for background work first

  • Crew must have experience or willingness to support various production departments

  • Must be based in or able to work in Los Angeles

  • Open to dedicated, professional individuals ready to collaborate on a high-quality production
