Responsibilities
- Distribute jobs and oversee each artist’s schedule to ensure all tasks can be completed within the time allowed and adjust schedules as needed.
- Train all internal and outsourced staff as needed.
- Review proofs created by team to ensure all customer specifications are followed correctly.
- Identify any possible issues that might arise from artwork proofs during the production process and request adjustments.
- Know all decoration method requirements and limitations.
- Identify and help resolve issues that arise during the production process.
- Develop strategy for scaling the art department to meet the demands of company growth.
- Stay up to date with industry decoration techniques and best practices and trends in the industry.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.Â
- Manage artwork data entry onto workorders.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
