Our privately held, family owned and operated company has been decorating apparel and products in Louisville, KY for 35 years. Our team, which since the beginning has been a home for our refugee community, consists of over 100 people representing 10 different countries and 5 different languages. Responsibilities
- Distribute jobs and oversee each artist’s schedule to ensure all tasks can be completed within the time allowed and adjust schedules as needed.
- Train all internal and outsourced staff as needed.
- Review proofs created by team to ensure all customer specifications are followed correctly.
- Identify any possible issues that might arise from artwork proofs during the production process and request adjustments.
- Know all decoration method requirements and limitations.
- Identify and help resolve issues that arise during the production process.
- Develop strategy for scaling the art department to meet the demands of company growth.
- Stay up to date with industry decoration techniques and best practices and trends in the industry.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Manage artwork data entry onto workorders.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in graphic design.
- Graphic design experience required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Design Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop required.
- Production art experience preferred.
