We are looking for a passionate and motivated social media practitioner.
- Someone for whom this is not merely a job, but something they are passionate about.
Big Plus: Expertise and interest in motorcycles and motorcycle culture.
- They follow, and are subconsciously analyzing, the social media presence of motorcycle, and adjacent industry brands for trends and techniques
- But open to those with an automotive, or motorsports interest with applicable understanding of powersports culture
Strong content creation instincts and skills.
- We are not necessarily looking for a photographer or videographer. But knowledge of quality photography and/or videography and having a sharp eye for what makes a good shot is certainly valuable to this position.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work and collaborate well in a team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Work as a community manager for specific motorcycle industry clients, working under the management of a senior social media supervisor
- Manage the day-to-day client interaction and act as primary liaison between client and internal/external team members
- This includes developing strategies and tactics to support specific products and product launches, brand campaigns, events and brand-oriented lifestyle content platforms.
- Plan, curate. manage and measure social media channels for specific clients.
- Ensure social media strategy and tactics are aligned to clients’ business goals and objectives.
- Work on multiple projects with varying deadlines, while adhering to specific agency processes and procedures
- Exercise an ability to follow-through on projects and drive them to completion, strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
- Think creatively and outside the box to create campaigns and strategies for multiple brands that go beyond just a singular social post
- Work with the internal creative team to develop dynamic social content for a range of initiatives (ex: events, photoshoots, campaigns, recaps, etc.)
- Contribute to team brainstorms as well as assist in special projects and administrative assignments as needed
- Monitor trends in social media technology, tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing client direction, goals and deadlines
- Travel for company/client as needed
- Other duties as needed
What Qualifies You:
- Experience, expertise and genuine personal interest in motorcycles and motorcycle culture, with an emphasis in on-road, V-twin motorcycles.
- Interest in, experience with, or significant knowledge about content creation, photography and/or videography
- Interest in social media and understanding of premium brands presence and strategies
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Marketing or related field
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written presentation abilities
- Knowledge of all first-party organic and paid social platform features and functions, as well as Google Analytics, Sprout Social and Julius a plus
