CASTING SHORT FILM DON’T STOP MOVING
DON’T STOP MOVING is a film inspired by the live action game playing experience and it takes place in a simulation of the battle Royale style landscape. At the start of the film, we encounter Guy, a single player alone in the wilderness with nothing but his wits, scanning the horizon for resources and assets to survive. Along the way, he encounters a series of characters, a combination of avatars and NPC‘s to play out fantasy fight fiction. With no time to lose, he heads towards what might be his next conquest or his possible demise.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
[LADY] Ages 20-30. All ethnicities. Female identifying. Pan American. Athletic build. Her look is anime inspired. She’s seductive and fun, yet tough and fierce. Nice to be around and a great listener who knows how to give the best advice. Aquarius. For all the roles in the film, actors will be embodying a combination of avatars and NPC‘s to play out fantasy fight fiction. Fight, dance and/or stunt experience mandatory for this role. This role requires body movement skills. TALENT MUST HAVE FIGHT, DANCE, MARTIAL ARTS AND/OR STUNT EXPERIENCE. This role in involved in fighting scene and intimacy scene (there will be a choreographer/movement director on set as well as an intimacy coordinator).
[BICYCLIST] Ages 35-65. All ethnicities. Male/Female identifying. A gritty working class hero. Zen master, quiet calm, and quick like a mongoose. A true gentleman. For all the roles in the film, actors will be embodying a combination of avatars and NPC‘s to play out fantasy fight fiction. This role requires body movement skills. TALENT MUST HAVE FIGHT, DANCE, MARTIAL ARTS AND/OR STUNT EXPERIENCE. This role in involved in fighting scene (there will be a choreographer/movement director on set).
[GAS STATION MANAGER] Ages 35-55. All ethnicities. Male identifying. Full time manager at a gas station. Big personality. Blunt and humorous. Overworked, but steady presence. He’s probably a second generation immigrant. Large build. Talent must be NYC or Upstate locals.
[GAS STATION ASSISTANT MANAGER] Ages 30-55. All ethnicities. Male/Female identifying. Part time assistant manager at a local gas station Upstate New York. Distracted, introspective and quiet. Overlooked but clever and scrappy. Talent must be NYC or Upstate locals.
[FARMER] Ages 35-50. Male identifying. African-American (ideally Southern but not required). He is a third generation dairy farmer. Honest and hard working. A dead pan sensibility but also a sweetie. Large build. For all the roles in the film, actors will be embodying a combination of avatars and NPC‘s to play out fantasy fight fiction. This role requires body movement skills. Martial arts, fight, movement and/or stunt experience a plus but not required.
[NIGHT MANAGER] Ages 40-60. All ethnicities. Male/Female identifying. Metropolitan. preoccupied, but also very present. Very articulate. Transfixed by their phone. Master multitasker. Talent must be NYC or Upstate locals.
