Job Description
Casting Double is seeking talented Latino actors for Eat the Sun, a SAG feature film written and directed by Nicole Otero. Set in the American Southwest, the film follows two estranged siblings who return home after their father’s death, confronting family secrets, grief, and the emotional weight of the past. Lead roles are now open, with filming scheduled for October through November 2026.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a lead character in a narrative feature film.
- Attend rehearsals and principal photography as scheduled.
- Collaborate with the director and production team throughout filming.
- Deliver emotionally grounded performances in a character-driven drama.
Requirements
- IDA (Lead): Female, Latino, ages 25–35. Speaks English with an American accent. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
- MANUEL (Lead): Male, Latino, ages 30–40. Speaks English with an American accent. Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
- SAG Modified Low Budget (MLB) contract.
- Filming takes place in the Southwestern United States.
