Role/Position: Post System Admin
Job Location: Englewood Cliff, New Jersey
Job Description: Responsible for the support and maintenance of all workstations, systems, sound equipment, projection, and software. At the same time, having an understanding of long and short-form workflows and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and maintain all hardware and software equipment. This includes projection, monitors, Super Micro, Mac and PC work station, software, and LTO decks.
- Support all software including OSX, Windows, Resolve, Colorfront, Avid Final Cut, Adobe
- Support and provide feedback on project workflows
- Occasionally assist editors and colorists when needed.
- Initiate troubleshooting tactics when needed
- Stay up to date with industry tools and practices.
Experience/Skills Required
- At least three years of experience maintaining post-production facilities in a systems admin role
- Understanding production and post-production techniques and terms such as file formats, codecs, workflows, HDR, Dolby Atmos, and deliverables.
- Knowledge of industry tools like Barco, Apple, Super Micro, OWC, Sony, LG, mLogic
- Knowledge of confirming and finishing deliverable practices
- Knowledge of Blackmagic, Resolve, Colorfront, Premiere, Avid, Final Cut, and After Effects
- Knowledge of audio tools like QSC, Pro Tools, Dolby Atmos, JBL, and Grace Design
- Must have excellent Multi-tasking skills and be able to manage multiple projects at once
