Job Description
An experiential marketing and event fabrication company in Long Beach, CA is hiring a skilled Seasonal Carpenter to join its fabrication team. This role supports the build-out of high-quality custom displays for live events, trade shows, auto shows, and branded experiential activations.

This is a full-time, project-based opportunity with potential for permanent conversion. If you have a strong background in finish carpentry, cabinetry, or display fabrication and thrive in fast-paced production environments, this is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale branded builds.

Job Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom displays, scenic elements, cabinetry, and branded environments

  • Build from drawings, blueprints, renderings, and shop plans

  • Work with wood, MDF, plastics, composites, laminates, and light metal

  • Operate industrial shop equipment safely and efficiently

  • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fabrication teams

  • Maintain high-quality standards while meeting tight deadlines

  • Support on-site installation and dismantle of displays when required

Requirements

  • Background in finish carpentry, cabinetry, or trade show fabrication

  • Experience operating shop equipment including:

    • Table saws

    • Panel saws

    • Routers

    • Laminating equipment

  • Strong understanding of measurements, math, and precision layout

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

  • High attention to detail

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and on a team

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed

  • Metal fabrication and welding experience is a plus

Compensation

  • $31–$35 per hour

Account Coordinator – Live Events ($30/hr)

Job Description
A high-energy live events team is hiring an Account Coordinator to support on-site activations across major venues including Citi Field, MetLife Stadium, and UBS Arena. This part-time role is ideal for individuals passionate about event coordination, brand activations, and engaging with large crowds in fast-paced environments. You’ll be at the heart of sports and entertainment events, helping ensure smooth execution from planning to post-event wrap-ups.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with timelines, run-of-show documents, and activation checklists

  • Track event milestones, identify risks, and communicate solutions

  • Support logistics, venue coordination, and on-site team operations

  • Help manage staffing, credentials, and team communications

  • Monitor inventory of branded premiums, signage, and materials

  • Collect post-event data and customer feedback for reporting

  • Escalate any issues to Account Manager as needed

  • Engage directly with fans and attendees during live events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years in agency/event marketing

  • 1–2 years of experience in events, activations, or promotions

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

  • Must be outgoing, energetic, and comfortable speaking with crowds

  • Willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and outdoor events

  • Must be able to stand for full shifts and lift light materials

  • Clean driving record preferred

  • Available for multiple events throughout New York

Compensation

  • Pay: $30/hour

  • Hours: 8-hour shifts

  • Schedule: 10–20 hours per week (Part-Time)

  • Location: Citi Field, Flushing NY, with additional venues across NYC

Overview

The Field Manager serves as the primary event specialist in charge of flawless execution and quality assurance of the event. This position directs use of event resources (personnel, event set-up, and equipment) to ensure maximum effectiveness of brand message and achievement of objectives. Continually optimizes quality in all areas including but not limited to event entertainment value (sound and visual), effectiveness of interaction with consumers, and total impact of mobile marketing initiative on target audience.

The Field Manager works closely with the event producer, oversees event, and documents the event via reporting and pictures.

Responsibilities

  • Implements marketing and advertising campaigns by supervising activation staff including recommendations and disciplinary action.
  • Maintains products on display so they are presentable and appealing to the public.
  • Handles all administrative paperwork and is responsible for accurately reporting and assessing both staff and the activation.
  • Responsible for securing and accounting for RMD valuables and petty cash, including but not limited to products on hand, premiums, and work equipment.
  • Responsible for ensuring the safety and legal rights of staff under their care. Scheduling breaks and lunch periods.
  • Keeps informed on industry and product information.
  • Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a management position – Supervising a team.
  • Knowledge of basic HR laws.
  • Direct Marketing, Guerilla Marketing, Event Marketing, Understanding the Customer, Process Improvement, Initiative, Basic Computer Skills, Public Speaking
  • Strong Interpersonal/Presentation Skills
  • Valid Driver’s License/Clean Driving Record (Preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • May require traveling with overnight stays
  • Must be comfortable typing for extended periods of time
  • Stand 1/3-2/3 of time – Walk 1/3-2/3 of time – Sit >2/3 of time –
  • Talk >2/3 of time – Hear >2/3 of time
  • Lift and or /move up to 25 lbs. on occasion
