In this role, you’ll conceptualize and design a range of deliverables, from quick-turnaround production pieces to holistic identity systems. This is a critical part of our design team, and we’ll count on you to bring your A-game to fortify our production capacity and elevate our creative solutions.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Provide creative leadership in concepting, designing and implementing a wide range of cutting edge graphics and layouts for brand identity, product illustrations, company logos, and websites with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends to ensure we stay a step ahead of our competitors
  • Work with the post-production team to provide inventive graphics for their latest videos
  • Develop meaningful creative strategies and solutions for brands across all industries
  • Produce print-ready materials such as billboards, one-pagers, and mailers
  • Create memorable merchandise designs

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of design experience.
  • Ability to design logos, websites, and digital graphics that clients love. Knowledge of trends and ability to flex on a range of styles.
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Ability to work independently. You understand that sometimes the best way to contribute is to figure it out yourself. You would rather make progress than waste time.
  • This position will be based out of one of our offices in Atlanta, GA, Richmond, VA, or Washington, DC. Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill the role in person

EBC Music Director/Worship Leader Job Vacancy Announcement

Employment Status: This is a Part-Time position. The following is the minimum guidelines & requirements required to execute the assigned duties.

  • Initial 3-month probationary period
  • Attendance of all regular EBC Choir functions
  • Any other time as required to fulfill the duties of the Music Director of the EBC Choir (i.e., external services)
  • Part of the selection process includes the Director finalist selectees auditioning with the various EBC Choirs for (2 to 3) weeks, with compensation

Qualifications:

  • Called by God to Minister to the Church as the Music Director
  • Proficient in reading music required
  • Three – Five years’ experience teaching multiple choir formats
  • Bachelor of Music, and or Master of Music Degree is preferred
  • Person of Character and Integrity required
  • Ability to lead multiple EBC Choirs & musicians
  • Willingness to participate, and prepare music that is spiritual lifting for the EBC congregation as a whole
  • Develop, train, and encourage musical talents of the Church membership
  • Maintain church instruments in good order
  • Supervise musician’s rehearsals and performance schedules

 

Responsibilities:

  • To meet with the Chairman of the EBC Trustee Board & Leadership on a regular basis
  • To work collaboratively with the EBC Choirs
  • To work collaboratively with the EBC Audio/Media Ministry coordinator
  • To be diligent and on time for all EBC Choir rehearsals (i.e., Thursday’s evenings, Sunday services)
  • To coordinate and direct the EBC Choirs and coordinate music selections
  • Be available for special services (i.e., Revivals and Funerals)
  • All musical activities/services must be EBC related unless approved by the EBC Pastor or delegated EBC Leadership

Compensation:

Rate of compensation shall be based on Musical Experience, Education, and shall be within the framework of the EBC Annual budget.

  • The salary shall be negotiable at approximately $50 per hour based on experience

Creative Content Producer

Bassett is looking for a driven, detail-oriented content creator specializing in brand storytelling through email, blog, and social channels. The Content Creator will work with the marketing and merchandising teams to identify new stories to tell, and new ways to reach consumers at various stages of their path to purchase. A good fit will enjoy a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects at once. An interest in the home design category is a plus as you will develop, pitch, write, and build stories that are shoppable, sharable, and search-friendly: design how-to’s, style tips, product features, and home décor trends. May be required to travel on occasion to retail stores or Company factories to research and develop content.

Key Responsibilities:

· Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blog, and social media platforms.

· Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all projects to release, including making final changes, pre-flighting, collecting, making PDFs and slices
  • Consistently apply and enforce style/brand guidelines, assess for flaws in the form and functionality of design
  • Retouch and manipulate images
  • Maintain, organize and update files, and reference art on our file storage system for future projects

Open Casting Call: FELLOW TRAVELERS – Seeking Extras (RICHMOND, VA)

Kendall Cooper Casting is looking for extras to work on the upcoming SHOWTIME limited television series “Fellow Travelers”. This will be a period piece set in the 1950’s and production will be filming in Richmond, VA on October 9th and 10th. 
 
The casting team is looking for people who can easily portray a classic 1950’s look. Casting men and women of all ethnicities to play business men, secretaries, reporters and also seeking musicians who can play brass instruments. 1950’s hair styles are a HUGE plus. All men will need to be clean shaven. We will be giving period appropriate 1950’s hair cuts. Please note we will be limited by the period costumes available, so please be sure to include ALL of your current sizes in your submission. 

All roles will require a costume fitting in advance of filming. Fittings will be starting September 30th and continue into the first week of October. Production is also seeking cars from the 1940’s and 1950’s era. Please submit your period vehicle with your submission if you have one and please note if you have experience driving these period vehicles.
