Watch the new movie trailer for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s ‘San Andreas’ movie

The Rock is back with director Brady Peyton. The director and A-List actor worked on the hit movie, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, this time the duo has teamed up for a new movie about earthquakes.

We recently posted several casting calls for the San Andreas movie a few months ago. Now the trailer has hit the Internet and it looks adventurously amazing.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.

But their treacherous journey north is only the beginning. And when they think the worst may be over…it’s just getting started.

Alexandra Daddario (True Detective Season 1) and Paul Giamatti co-star in the upcoming apocalyptic thriller. San Andreas hits theaters on May 29th, and it looks like it is going to be action packed!

As we have been pointing out in the latest casting calls for ‘Joe Dirt 2’, David Spade is currently back with the world’s greatest mullet to work on the Joe Dirt sequel. David Spade has teamed up with Crackle to film Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser exclusively for the streaming site and fans of the original are anxiously waiting to see what this hillbilly character is going to do next. But, by the looks of this recently released photo (seen above), it looks as though David Spade is having a great time with the background extras on ‘Joe Dirt 2’.

Filming is currently taking place in Slidell, Louisiana and according to reports, the new sequel of Joe Dirt is going to feature model Charlotte McKinney in her first acting role in her career. Hey, it wouldn’t be a David Spade movie without extremely attractive women.

McKinney posted the photo on her Instagram two days to ago as the cast and crew were filming a trailer park scene outside of New Orleans.

‘Bolden’ is the passion project of Hyatt Hotels heir and writer/director Dan Pritzker, who has reportedly funneled millions into the film. ‘Bolden’ centers on a mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans. According to IMDB, Bolden! features Jackie Earle Haley, Omari Hardwick, and Michael Rooker.

Syfy Developing Superman Origin Story ‘Krypton’

Syfy network is in development for a Superman prequel series

Another comic book show is hitting your TV sets. Syfy is hiring David S. Goyer, the man behind The Man of Steel to develop a Superman origin story called Krypton.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Krypton takes place years before Superman is born, when the HOuse of El was shamed and ostracized. This drama which is currently in development, will follow Superman’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a chaotic planet into one that gives rise to Superman.

The new series will be written by Ian Goldberg, the writer of Once Upon a Time and Flashforward and the TV series will be just like Fox’s Gotham.

The drama is in the same vein as Fox’s DC Comics take Gotham, which tells the origin story of Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and features a pre-teen Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) before he became Batman.

Krypton is the latest TV series to be inspired by a comic book. TNT is currently developing a drama series, Titans, where a group of superheroes fight bad guys. Titans will include Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven. Krypton will join The CW’s The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl NBC’s Hellblazer, Constantine, and Fox’s Gotham as the next comic book series turned TV show.

Actress, Stephanie Moseley Killed by Husband in Murder-Suicide

Twilight actress, choreographer and VH1 star, shot to death by husband in murder-suicide.

Stephanie Moseley, a Canadian actress, dancer and choreographer was shot to death by her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, last night in a shocking murder-suicide.

According to reports, police were called to the apartment that Moseley and Hayes shared in the Park La Brea area of Los Angeles at about 7:30 AM and heard shots fired from inside. By the time SWAT officers arrived, both of the occupants were dead. According to TMZ, the couple’s close friend, Floyd Mayweather, witnessed the shootings via facetime as he tried to calm the situation down after receiving a phone call from Hayes.

According to our Floyd sources, Earl said he was going to kill his wife. The champ was pleading with him to get a grip … to no avail. Floyd will not say how much he saw, but he acknowledges he was a witness and heard everything.

Floyd is in shock and is having extreme difficulty dealing with the fact that he witnessed a horrifying murder/suicide. [TMZ]

TMZ also reports that the argument started over an alleged affair between Stephanie and R&B singer Trey Songz.

Sources connected with Hayes tell us … around 2 years ago he separated from Stephanie because of what he says was her affair with Songz. They got back together but, as one friend put it, “He was crushed and never got over it.” We’re told he frequently brought up Songz.

Hayes accused Moseley of having multiple affairs with various other entertainers. She was a backup dancer who worked with numerous famous singers, including Chris Brown and Usher, but we’re told Hayes never mentioned them as a source of conflict.

Moseley, who was best known for her role in Twilight: Breaking Dawn (Part One). The young actress had many roles in film, television, and music videos. At the time of her death, Moseley was expected to reprise her role as Arelly in Season 3 of VH1’s cheerleading series, Hit The Floor. Moseley also appeared on the Disney themed series, Once Upon a Time, and CW’s Hellcats. 

Tributes to the late actress have been pouring in from various musicians such as Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ashley Tisdale, and Tyga.

Jennifer Aniston reveals that Hollywood stereotyped her as an actress but, her new movie allowed her to break free

Jennifer Aniston, 45,  sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss her film career and her latest movie ‘Cake’. The Friends actress revealed that her latest feature film is the “the greatest thing that ever happened” to her.

“I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to be in a conversation that has to do with something other than trite, silly, you know, ‘Are you pregnant?’ ‘When are you this?’ ‘What’s your hair doing?’ You know, or, ‘You’re just a rom-com person!’ Anything just to have a discussion about the work!”

Jennifer Aniston broke down her experiences in Hollywood since Friends was canceled nearly 20 years ago. But, one thing Aniston did reveal was that Hollywood did typecast her as an actress and “stereotyped” what type of roles she could or could not do.

As Aniston tells it, though, she has long harbored aspirations of breaking outside of that sort of a box, in which she feels she’s been “stereotyped” since Friends. She trained as an actress, takes the craft seriously and craved different opportunities than she’s been offered since her rise to fame. “It’s been a frustrating thing,” she confesses. She didn’t want to be thought of as “only the girl next door, only the funny gal”; rather, she says, “I wanted to explore human beings and human experiences.” When she concluded that she wouldn’t be getting those opportunities, she formed a production company with others and began seeking them out for herself. And when she learned about Cake, she knew that she had found a perfect match.

Despite working the project that allowed her to express her acting abilities, Jennifer Aniston said that playing a woman living with chronic pain was “terrifying” and “risky”. But, she admitted that “‘You’ve got to try. At this point, who cares? If you fall flat on your face, fine, you fall flat on your face.’ That’s what people are probably expecting anyway, because everybody loves to sit there with their little swords and get ready to go, ‘A-ha, see? You suck!'”
