Blame ‘Gotham’ for the new Superman prequel TV series.
With the recent success of Dark Knight TV series, ‘Gotham’ producers are making a Superman prequel TV series, ‘Krypton’.

The Man Of Steel writer/producer David Goyer is currently involved in a TV show called Krypton. According to Bleeding Cool, the show will be a pre-Superman drama set on the planet Krypton. However, details surrounding the project have not been formally announced and there are rumors of dragons and a society of flying superheroes and a mysterious cult. It may also mean the show will feature Superman’s Dad or his Mom or even a Baby General Zod. But, it does mean that Superman will not be born yet.

Comic books turned TV shows are becoming extremely popular for TV networks. Currently, Warner Bros. is developing a Supergirl TV show. In addition, Fox is developing an X-Men TV series. Either we are currently experiencing a comic book Renaissance or producers have found another way to make a ton of money without really being creative.
