According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Mindhunterwill be directed by David Fincher and will feature Charlize Theron.
Details surrounding Mindhunter, have not been released. In 1996, John Douglas and Mark Olshanker wrote Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit, which the new Netflix series is based on.
The book goes behind the scenes of some of his highest-profile cases, including the man who hunted prostitutes in Alaska, the Atlanta child murderer, and Seattle’s Green River killer. To hone in his profiling methods Douglas interviewed and studied a skew of serial killers. Several book and TV characters have been based in part on him, including Jack Crawford in Thomas Harris’ The Silence of the Lambs, Will Graham on Hannibal and Jason Gideon on Criminal Minds.
Douglas also worked as a consultant on The Silence of the Lambs as well.
David Fincher is the executive producer of the Netflix series, House of Cards which was recently renewed for a fifth season. HOC will film in Baltimore in 2016.

The final two parts of the Fast & Furiousfranchise will hit theaters in 2019 and 2021.
Universal has confirmed the dates for the ninth and tenth installments of its blockbuster Fast & Furious franchise.
The studio has scheduled in April 19, 2019 for the ninth sequel, and April 2, 2021 for the tenth and, for the moment, final film in the series. The tenth film being released in 2021 would bean Fast & Furious will have spanned two decades by the final movie.
Fast 8, is set to hit theaters April 14, 2017 and will be directed by Straight Outta Compton‘s F. Gary Gray.
On Wednesday, Vin Diesel took to Instagram and posted the dates for the last three films in the Fast & Furious saga.
NBC’s Cruel Intentions picks up more than 15 years after the 1999 movie left off. The drama follows the beautiful and cunning Kathryn Merteuil (played by Sarah Michelle Gellar in the film) as she vies for control of Valmont International as well as the soul of Bash Casey, son of her brother, the late Sebastian Valmont, and Annette Hargrove. Upon discovering his late father’s legacy in a hidden journal, Bash is introduced to a world of sex, money, power and corruption he never could have imagined.
The sequel, which was picked up by NBC in October, comes from the writer-director of the original Cruel Intentions movie, Roger Kumble.
Cruel Intentions is the latest movie-to-TV adpatation to land a pilot order this season. The show joins CBS’ Drew, based on the Nancy Drew character from the mystery book series, and Training Day, which also takes place 14 years after the original movie. Also, Fox’s The Exorcist and NBC’s Taken prequel series are also being made into TV pilots.
However, just because it’s a reboot doesn’t mean it’s a success. This TV season has featured several movie-to-TV reboots, including Fox’s now-canceled Minority Report. But, CBS’ Limitless has performed extremely well in the ratings.

Once we receive everyone’s availability, we will book people based on the needs of the production for those days.
2. BOOKING EMAIL
If you are booked, you will receive a BOOKING EMAIL. It will give you the details of the days you are booked to work. You must respond to your booking or you will be replaced.
If you respond to the AVAILABILITY CHECK or FILL OUT SURVEY, and don’t receive a booking email, it means that you are not needed for that particular episode. We will do our best to get a booking email to you no later than 48 hours of the shoot date.
If production has last minute changes, this can sometimes lead to a cancellation. We will do our best to book you at a later date if this happens.
3. CALL INFO
The day before your booking you will receive your CALL INFO. You can expect this email to arrive some time between 8:00PM and 11:00PM. This is because we do not get the official call times until they are finished filming on that current day. When you receive your CALL INFO email you are REQUIRED to respond. This is how we know you have received the information and that you will be there.

According to the casting call, Drummer will be holding auditions this week and she’s looking for new talent.
All talents must be based in the Atlanta, Georgia area to audition.

Georgia’s film industry is booming. According to the Georgia Department of Development, the new growth in TV and film is continuing to grow.
Last year, production companies filming in Georgia spent approximately $1.7 billion dollars on 248 projects, placing the state right behind New York and Los Angeles.
As Georgia’s film industry continues to grow, so will the number of job opportunities for Georgia residents.
The only thing holding the state back is the lack of networking conditions between producers and aspiring filmmakers.
On January 30th, the Cinema South Expo will provide information, training and opportunities to people looking for a career in the film industry.
The expo is the first of its kind and will attendees a chance to talk with film and TV veterans.
The event will be hosted by Open Rivers Film Academy at Pinewood Atlanta Studios Production Center in Fayetteville, Georgia.
Open Rivers Academy founder, Tammy Williams was recently interviewed by Rolling Out to discuss the upcoming opportunities Georgia residents can expect at the first annual Cinema South Expo.
Williams said, “We wanted to have a big class to educate people on how to find a job in the industry and what jobs are actually out there.”
Williams added that there will be several different panels featuring various people associated with the film industry. “For example, one of the panels will have an assistant director, a cinematographer and for people who love food, we have a chef who’s catering company provides meals for a large percentage of film sets in the area.”
Actors are struggling as SAG-AFTRA owes millions to actors.
Residuals are what actors work hard to obtain. As Deadline points out, residuals are “the lifeblood of actors” and it helps working actors who have fallen on hard times. For example, many actors live poor for years until they pass away and depend on residuals to pay the bills and put a roof over their heads. In fact, many other actors struggle to survive and end up living on Los Angeles’ infamous homeless alley way, Skid Row.

According to a new report by Deadline, SAG-AFTRA is holding over $40 million in unclaimed residuals for nearly 96,00 actors they cannot locate, many of whom died without every notifying the union.
At Saturday night’s SAG Awards gala, nearly 60% of the 42 actors honored during the In Memoriam tribute were owed money when they died including David Bowie, Leonard Nimoy, Omar Sharif, Christopher Lee, Robert Loggia and Louis Jourdan. Abe Vigoda, who died last week, was also owed money. (Check out lists of some of those owed below.)
It was the same story at last year’s show, when again nearly 60% of the honored dead are owed money including Maximilian Schell, Joan Rivers, Bob Hoskins and David Brenner. (See that full list below.) And of the 41 late actors honored the year before that, more than 50% are owed unclaimed residuals today including Peter O’Toole, Jonathan Winters and Julie Harris.
In addition to those who have passed away, according to Deadline, many famous actors are still owed money. For example, Justin Timberlake, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Zach Galifianakis, Melissa McCarthy, and Nicole Kidman.
And if SAG-AFTRA cannot find a way to pay famous actors, according to Deadline, the union is struggling to find less famous actors they owe money too.
The union says they are doing the best they can. “We may be holding money in trust for ‘known’ performers for several reasons, including a bad address or as a result of mail returned for other reasons; unresolved estate issues, or an inactive or dissolved loan out corporation which may request and be pending action on the part of the member,” its website reads. “Quite often, residuals may be waiting simply for a recipient or their agent to formalize a change of address.”
