5 Actors Who Were Actually High or Drunk On-set

5 A-list actors who were drunk or high on set popular movies.

It was recently revealed that House of Cards actor Kevin Spacey was under the influence in the movie American Beauty. Director Sam Mendes recently said, during the making of American Beauty, he may have allowed Kevin Spacey to get stoned “for real,” in order to heighten the realism of the film’s drug scene.

“There’s a scene in American Beauty where he and Wes Bentley’s character are getting stoned outside a real estate convention,” Mendes told an audience at the Hay Festival in Hay-on-Wye.. “There may or may not have been real pot available on that particular evening, I couldn’t comment.”

“At one point Kevin got the giggles as you might imagine would happen. He got helpless with laughter out of nowhere and his eyes flick over just to the left of the camera because he’s looking for me to say “don’t giggle, it’s not what I want you to But I said “keep going” because I just thought it was magic. And he kept going and that was absolutely the movie.”

But, Kevin Spacey is not alone. Here are 5 actors who took drugs while making their movies.

1.Robert Shaw Jaws

Steven Spielberg revealed that Robert Draw was intoxicated while making Jaws. On one particular occasion, ahead of filming his famous “sinking of the Indianapolis” speech, Shaw drank so much that he had to be carried on to the set, and later blacked out. However, Shaw made up for it the next day by saying one of the most memorable monologues of all time.

2. Jack Nicholson Easy Rider

For the movie Easy Rider, Nicholson recalled filming a scene around a campfire. “We were all stoned the night we shot the campfire scene. The speech about the UFOs looks improvised, but it was actually almost verbatim from the script. The story about me smoking 155 joints – that’s a little exaggerated. But each time I did a take or an angle, it involved smoking almost an entire joint. After the first take or two, the acting job became reversed. Instead of being straight and having to act stoned at the end, I was now stoned at the beginning and having to act straight, and then gradually letting myself return to where I was – which was very stoned.”

3. Daniel Radcliffe Harry Potter

It’s hard to imagine a boy wizard drinking behind the scenes but, the actor who played Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, said he went on nightly drinking binges during the filming of the movie. And although he admits he never consumed alcohol on the set, he “went into work still drunk”. “I can point to many scenes where I’m just gone”, he told Heat Magazine in 2012, “dead behind the eyes.”

4. Carrie Fisher Star Wars

The Princess Leia actress has revealed countless Star Wars secrets and behind the scenes details. She even revealed that she took drugs and alcohol on set of the Star Wars trilogy. But, there was one scene which became a Hollywood legend. While working on The Empire Strikes Back, Fisher was renting out Eric Idle’s home and Eric Idle came home with the Rolling Stones. Fisher, who at the time stopped drinking, fell off the wagon to “be kind of amenable” to the rock stars, and, along with co-star Harrison Ford, ended up staying awake so late they didn’t bother sleeping before their early call. “We weren’t hung over,” she recalled at the 2015 Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, “We were still in our cups. And if you watch the movie you can see that: Harrison and I are smiling as we arrived in Cloud City. Doesn’t that sound like a euphemism?”

5. Judy Garland Wizard of Oz

MGM Studios placed Garland on a starvation diet of black coffee, chicken soup and cigarettes, to make sure she did not gain weight. But during the filming of The Wizard of Oz, Garland was also given a mixture of amphetamines and barbiturates, to enable her to get through filming while maintaining a restricted diet.The actress would later struggle with drugs and alcohol addiction. Garland would die of an overdose at 47.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy 2’ Plot Details Leak Online

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 details reveals the movie’s main super villain.

According to a new report from Joblo, sources close to the blog have revealed the movie’s primary villain: Ayesha. The character has gone through several names in the comics. But, the character was a genetically perfect being created by a group of evil scientists called The Enclave. The Enclave also created a male subject to go with Ayesha, which would eventually become a cosmic superhero called Adam Warlock. So, if Ayesha is involved in the movie, it could be laying down the framework for Warlock’s appearance in the movie or the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Court documents reveal how much money Amber Heard has and it’s pretty shocking…

When you think of Hollywood actors and actresses, you think of luxury vehicles, extravagant mansions, Gucci, Prada and the most expensive jewelry money can buy. But, is all of the glitz and glamor just a charade?

Recent court documents obtained by the Daily Mail, show Amber Heard’s personal finances. Heard has worked on several major motion pictures including Magic Mike XXL, Machete Kills, The Rum Diary and What’s the Point, however, according to documents filed this week, Amber Heard only earned less than $10,000 for the month of May, which is $20,000 dollars less than the popular Bottega Venta Edoarado purse.

The court documents also reveal that Amber Heard spends about $40,000 a month on various expenses including computer, research, office and supply, business entertainment and clothes expenses. In fact, according to the court documents released by Daily Mail, Amber Heard spent $2,000/month on clothes, $10,000 on rent and $10,000 a month on entertainment.

While we are quick to assume Hollywood A-listers are swimming in a pool of money, it’s important to remember that the median income for an actor is only who earns $52,000, according to SAG-AFRTA, which is a far-cry from the $75 million dollars Robert Downey Jr. makes for appearing in a movie.

Johnny Depp’s injury that delayed Pirates of the Caribbean 5 may have come from a fight with Amber Heard.

The details behind Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s divorce are getting pretty ugly. Rumors of abuse are circulating around the internet, followed by photographs, a restraining order and slow box office sales. Dough Stanhope, comedian and friend of Johnny Depp, said that Amber Heard is actually blackmailing the actor. But, it appears as though Amber Heard and her legal team are fighting back.

Heard has reportedly revealed that Johnny Depp’s injury from 2015 – the one that delayed Pirates of the Caribbean 5 filming in Australia- was not a go-carting accident as previously reported, instead Depp injured himself after a fight with his estranged wife. Johnny Depp allegedly punched a wall in the heat of the argument.

The story comes from an ET exclusive and seems to support some of the claims she made during her sworn statement in court this past Friday:

“I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorize me, physically and emotionally,” Heard wrote.

She detailed Depp’s history of drug and alcohol abuse, saying that she feared for her safety, claiming the “Edward Scissorhands” star has a short fuse, an “exceptionally scary” temper and suffers from paranoia.

“I am extremely afraid of Johnny and for my safety,” the actress said in her declaration for a restraining order. “Depending on his interaction with alcohol and drugs. Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse.”

Heard’s attorneys also released a statement addressing the ongoing media circus.

“As the result of Amber’s decision to decline giving an initial statement to the LAPD, her silence has been used against her by Johnny’s team. Amber did not provide a statement to the LAPD in an attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny’s career. Johnny’s team has forced Amber to give a statement to the LAPD to set the record straight as to the true facts, as she cannot continue to leave herself open to the vicious false and malicious allegations that have infected the media. Amber has suffered through years of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of Johnny…

We took the high road. Unfortunately, Johnny’s team immediately went to the press and began viciously attacking Amber’s character. Amber is simply a victim of domestic violence, and none of her actions are motivated by money. Amber is a brave and financially independent woman who is showing the courage of her convictions by doing the right thing against Johnny’s relentless army of lawyers and surrogates.

The Family Law Court is not going to be influenced by misinformation placed in the social media based on anonymous sources. Amber is the victim. Amber is a hero.”

All of these claims, photographs and accusations paint Johnny Depp as a violent man, with his entire friends and family standing behind him despite the damaging allegations.

New photos show Amber Heard’s injuries allegedly caused by Johnny Depp in another domestic violence incident.

Details surrounding Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s divorce are now leaking onto the Internet. Most recently, People Magazine new photos showing Amber Heard’s injuries allegedly caused by Johnny Depp in a previous domestic violence incident.

In her court filing accusing husband Johnny Depp of domestic violence, Amber Heard states that “there was one severe incident in December 2015 when I truly feared for my life.” There are new photos showing several facial injuries including an apparently bruised eye, cut lip and other injuries, which were caused by Johnny Depp in that 2015 incident.

According to reports, Amber Heard reveals two other alleged domestic violence incidents including an incident that occurred only a few weeks ago where she claims Depp argued with her after showing up at the end of her 30th birthday party “inebriated and high.” Depp would then grab her hair and “violently shoved me to the floor.” Then on May 21, Amber Heard claims Depp “began obsessing about something that was untrue” and hurled a cell phone at her, “striking my cheek and eye with great force.” According to sources close to People Magazine, police officers responded to a 911 call but there was “no evidence of any crime”

Amber Heard’s Legal Team Speaks Out: “Amber is the victim. Amber is a hero.”

Amber Heard’s legal team speaks with LAPD about the alleged domestic violence incident.

Only days after Johnny Depp was ordered by a Los Angeles County Superior Court to stay away from his estranged wife, Amber Heard, the actress’ legal team has released a statement about the alleged history of domestic violence.

According to reports, Amber Heard’s attorneys – Samantha F. Spector and Joseph P. Koenig – said in a statement that “As the result of Amber’s decision to decline giving an initial statement to the LAPD, her silence has been used against her by Johnny’s team. Amber did not provide a statement to the LAPD in an attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny’s career.”

The statement continued on by saying, “Johnny’s team has forced Amber to give a statement to the LAPD to set the record straight as to the true facts … Amber can no longer endure the relentless attacks and outright lies launched against her character in the Court of Public Opinion since the tragic events of May 21st.”

Amber Heard’s legal team added that the 911 call more than a week ago was made a by “third-party.”

This whole situation started after Heard asked for a restraining order on Friday, claiming the married couple had a fight the Saturday before and Depp allegedly hit her with a cellphone. She submitted photos, which showed bruises to her face.

Since the allegations were released, Johnny Depp has been traveling with his band and promoting his new movie. His legal team submitted an opposition to Heard’s court filing arguing, “Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse. Johnny is currently out of the country for work. He is unable to attend the hearing on this matter and has not heard Amber’s specific allegations against him. He nonetheless has every intention of staying away from Amber.”

Amber Heard’s legal team also revealed they initially planned to server Johnny Depp with a legal petition at the premiere of ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ on May 23rd but, they didn’t want to hurt Johnny Depp and keep the situation out of the media. “Amber is simply a victim of domestic violence, and none of her actions are motivated by money,” the attorneys added.

Selena Gomez Visits Sick Kids at Children’s Hospital

Selena Gomez visits Children’s Hospital in Boston.

Singer, actress, filmmaker and producer, Selena Gomez, took out time out of her busy schedule to visit the kids at Boston Children’s Hospital. The singer headed to the hospital over Memorial Day weekend to spend her day hanging out and even singing with patients. In fact, Selena Gomez played the drums and led a singalong to “Lean on Me”. Gomez was in town to perform at the TD Garden in Boston as part of her Revival tour.

“I have a show in Boston … here, tomorrow. I never know where I am because I’m always on tour,” Gomez joked as she chatted with a few young female patients. “But I have the day off so I figured I’d come and say ‘Hi!'”

The star took selfies with children who weren’t able to leave their hospitals. Family members were so appreciative, they even tweeted out their thanks.  “Thanks for meeting my bro,” one Gomez fan happily tweeted, along with several photos of the actress posing with her brother.

“You are exactly what I had hoped and pictured in my mind. You made sure to look each child in the eye and give them time. Such a simple gesture meant so much,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

Selena Gomez is a busy little bee. Outside of working on her music career and performing in sold out stadiums. Selena Gomez recently held open casting calls for her Netflix series ‘Thirteen Reasons Why’ in San Francisco.

‘The Shield’s Michael Jace Convicted of Murder

Michael Jace, ‘The Shield’ actor, was found guilty of second-degree murder in wife’s shooting death.

A jury has convicted an actor who played a police officer on the hit TV series The Shield of second-degree murder in the shooting death of his wife in Los Angeles. The verdict was read on Tuesday after a weeklong trial.

According to reports, Jace’s defense team acknowledged that he killed his wife April and argued that he should be convicted of voluntary manslaughter because it was not a premeditated act. The prosecutor, however, argued that Jace was upset that his wife wanted a divorce and shot her in the back before taunting her and shooting her in the legs.

Jace told detectives that he didn’t intend on killing his wife and only wanted to hurt her. However, according to Fox News, Jace’s 10-year-old son testified that he heard his father say, “‘If you like running, then run to heaven,'” before firing the second time.

The Walking Dead is now filming major scenes at Tyler Perry Studios – Here’s why.

Spoiler Alert: Do not continue reading unless you want to know what’s going to happen next on The Walking Dead Season 7.

Project Casting broke the news that The Walking Dead was filming at Tyler Perry Studios. But, it left many unanswered questions. Why is The Walking Dead filming at Tyler Perry studios? What are they filming? Is Tyler Perry going to make a guest appearance?

Well, we finally have a few answers. According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, The Walking Dead is filming scenes for “The Kingdom”. What is the Kingdom you ask? According to The Walking Dead Wiki, in the comics “The Kingdom is a community of survivors found in Washington, D.C., who are based at a high school surrounded by a wall of buses and sheets of metal. It is the second biggest settlement after the Hilltop Colony.” According to the comic books Rick Grimes travels to meet with Ezekiel, a new character set to be introduced in season 7, in order to create a plan and strategy to defeat Negan and The Saviors. Ezekiel gives his word of support and the inhabitants of “The Kingdom” join forces with Rick. Over the course of several weeks, Rick and Ezekiel hold meetings to discuss how they will join forces and defeat Negan.”

According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, producers are also filming Shiva – She is the pet tiger of Ezekiel, who lived with him in The Kingdom until her death – scenes at Tyler Perry Studios.

Filming for episode 3 will resume tomorrow. We expect them to be back at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta for continued filming at The Kingdom. It probably won’t be a great day for sightings, but if you’re going out please keep us posted!

Ezekiel and his faithful pet tiger Shiva have arrived! We are not sure who was cast as Ezekiel yet, but we’ll continue to track it. As for Shiva, it’s unclear how much of the giant kitty we’ll actually see, but she’s here! Rumor has it that she’ll be a mix of animatronics and CGI. Rawr!

It’s important to point out that the Atlanta City Council signed off on a deal that would allow for Tyler Perry to turn much of Fort McPherson into a movie studio. Tyler Perry wants to use the base to expand the number of studio facilities he currently owns and operates. Currently, Tyler Perry owns over 1000 acre property which features five sound stages, a post-production facility and a 400-seat theater in Southwest Atlanta.

Johnny Depp, Amber Heard’s Security Guards Reveal What Really Happened…

Security guards are now calling Amber Heard a liar, according to TMZ’s sources.

Over the Memorial Day weekend, a story surfaced that Johnny Depp allegedly domestically abused his wife Amber Heard. Since then, people are choosing sides on who to believe. Today, two new voices have been added to this celebrity all-star divorce match: Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s security guards.

TMZ reports that Jerry Judge and Sean Bett are claiming they were “standing in the entryway inside Johnny and Amber’s apartment unit, giving them space during the argument” when they heard Amber scream, “Stop hitting me!”

From TMZ:

The guards say “within a second” they bolted into the living area and saw Johnny in the kitchen and Amber on the couch in the living room — it’s an open floor plan. Both guards say Johnny was at least 20 feet away from her.

We’re told according to Johnny, both he and Amber knew the guards were in the entryway and the scream was a badly executed attempted setup.

It’s hard to believe who is telling the truth. But, the story really begs the question: why does a security guard’s initial reaction to a woman screaming, “STOP HITTING ME,” is that she is lying?

Kit Harington Says Male Actors Are Suffering the Same Sexism as Women

Kit Harington says male actors experience sexism just like women in Hollywood.

Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington strongly believes that there is sexism in Hollywood. But, not against women but, against men. In an interview with The Sunday Times Magazine, Harington compared the “demeaning” experience he and other male actors have to endure. As Harington explains, “I like to think of myself as more than a head of hair or a set of looks.”

“It’s demeaning. Yes, in some ways you could argue I’ve been employed for a look I have. But there’s a sexism that happens towards men,” Harrington continued. “There’s definitely a sexism in our industry that happens towards women, and there is towards men, as well. At some points during photoshoots when I’m asked to strip down, I felt that.”

But, it’s really hard to take Kit Harington’s comments seriously. Especially, with recent news stories about Gillian Anderson and Robin Wright’s unequal paychecks for The X-Files and House of Cards respectively, and the obstacles they had to overcome just to get paid as much as their male co-star.

$20,000 worth of computers and laptops were stolen from Kanye West’s private office.

According to TMZ, it seems Kanye West’s studio was robbed of $20,000 worth of studio equipment last week. A report claims that the door was pried open, and the robbers stole several valuables including laptops and computers from his Calabasas office. According to reports, investigators believe it was someone close to the rapper and it was an inside job. But, it begs the question: What did the burglars really want: the computers, or what’s inside them?
