The Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders 2018 auditions will be kicking off soon.  Step into the spotlight and come out and audition to become part of an exciting team!

WHEN: Saturday, March 24, 2018WHERE: Lincoln Financial Field Inside the Panasonic Club and Touchdown Club
TIME: Registraition begins at 10:00 am, judging starts at 12:30pm. All contestants should arrive by 10:30am.

Requirements:

  • All contestants MUST be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate. 2018 high school graduates are not eligible.
  • There is no fee for parking. Please park in the J lot on 11th street which is left after you pass the K lot. There will be signs.
  • Registration fee is $15 – Please note that the registration fee is waived for contestants that attend the optional audition workshop.

  • The workshops and open call audition are closed to the public. Only contestants will be granted access.
  • Contestants should wear a sports bra, lycra shorts and sneakers or dance sneakers for the audition. We suggest wearing nude hosiery with your outfit and wearing a warm-up over the outfit while registering and waiting to perform. Contestants should wear their hair down and have their make-up done. Any body jewelry should be removed and tattoos should be covered.
  • You can bring bottled water and snacks with you. There will also be water stations available and a concession stand open for your convenience. We suggest bringing hair and make-up products for touch-ups. Do not bring valuables with you, as there will not be a place to store them.

What if I advance to the Semi-Finals?

If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will receive an information packet that explains the remainder of the audition process. You will also have the opportunity to have questions answered during an informative session on Tuesday evening, March 27, 2018.

The following are dates that semi-finalists need to be available:

– Tuesday, March 27, 2018 6PM – 10PM Semi-Final Audition Rehearsal

– Wednesday, March 28, 2018 6PM – 10PM Semi-Final Elimination Round

* Contestants that advance to the Interview Round will be notified by Friday, March 30, 2018.

Maisie Williams Nearly Missed Her ‘Game of Thrones’ Audition to Visit a Pig Farm

Maisie Williams nearly missed her Game of Thrones audition to visit a pig farm.

Williams revealed she almost missed her audition for Game of Thrones during an interview with InStyle in which she explains a single day in her teen years could have changed her life forever.

Williams also explains what it was like growing up in front of a large international audience. When season 1 aired she was 14 years old. She’s now 21 and filming the eighth and final season.

“I struggled with the pressure to fit in and always worried about saying the right thing,” she remembers of her teens, which included a period of such brutal online bullying from her high-school classmates that she left to work with private tutors. Living up to her badass noblewoman-turned-assassin persona in public, she says, was a hard left from how she felt inside. “It was strange because I put on the personality of the girl who was ‘Maisie Williams’ but really struggled in my personal life.” Ultimately, it was connecting with fans that gave Williams the confidence she has today. “I think just understanding I wasn’t the only one who feels like they don’t fit in really helped me,” she says. “And it made me want to inform other young kids that it actually does get better.”

She explains that the hardest part of the show ending is that she will never be able to be Arya again. She explains, “For a long time we felt like the same person, but now that I’m older, I’ve grown into a different person and found other sides to my personality.”

Williams adds, “But I do wish she shaped me to be more fearless in the industry,” she continues. “Honestly, no matter what else I work on, I’ll miss playing her.”

Game of Thrones returns in 2019.

Details for the movie have not been released but, the upcoming feature film may be based on the novel of the same name. The novel, written by Evan Roskos, centers around James. Throughout the course of the story, James tries to discover the cause of his sister being kicked out of the house. He isn’t getting answers from his parents or Jorie, and the principal and teachers often give him conflicting stories. As he discovers the difficulties his sister endured, he learns a little more about himself and is able to see things in a much clearer light.
