A ghostwriter behind Common and Kanye is now casting talent for an upcoming music video.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on a music video filming on the week of Tuesday, June 19th in Chicago, Illinois.

Producers are seeking the following types:

• The music video is an artistic, socially-forward project with some themes and suggestive situations that speak to the real social issues here in Chicago. Women’s issues, inner city/neighborhood violence, drinking and drug use will be portrayed in a respectable yet impactful manner during this shoot. You will be working on set with highly experienced and regarded directors, makeup artists, costumers and crew members. The music artist is an incredibly talented hip hop writer and rapper who ghost writes for Common and Kanye, in addition to his own growing number of tracks.

Music Video Casting Call

Below is a breakdown of our casting needs and their respective filming dates.

ONE-DAY COMMITMENT: TUESDAY, JUNE 19TH

“DOUBLE” — Seeking African American Male photo double, 20s to 30s.
** Measurements must match or be a very close match to those listed below **
– Height: 5’6″ / Weight: 150 lbs
– Hair: Black
– Jacket: 38 R
– Shirt: 15 (neck) – 32/33 – 22 (sleeve)
– Pants: 32 (waist) / 20.5 (inseam)
FILM DETAILS:
– Tuesday, June 19th
– Anticipate being on set 8 hours, sundown to sun up (overnight)
– Pay rate: $100

“LOCALS” — Seeking African American males and females, 20s-40s.
FILM DETAILS:
– Tuesday, June 19th
– Anticipate being on set 8 hours, sundown to sun up (overnight)
– Pay rate: $60

“TEEN HOMIES” — Seeking African American males and females, 17+ years old who can pass for younger ages
FILM DETAILS:
– Tuesday, June 19th
– Anticipate being on set 8 hours, sundown to sun up (overnight)

TWO-DAY COMMITMENT: MONDAY, JUNE 18TH & TUESDAY, JUNE 19TH

“BRENDA” — Seeking pregnant, African American female, mid-20s to 30s. This is a highly-featured role.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
– Some degree of acting ability, as you will need to cry and act heartbroken
** Please submit a short video clip of yourself emoting despair, heartbreak, etc. in order to be considered **
– Comfortable with professional application of body makeup on the torso (shoulders to waistline)
– Comfortable with implied waist-up nudity (additional details will be provided to all applicant submissions)
FILM DETAILS:
– Monday, June 18th (AM / afternoon hours) and Tuesday, June 19th (late evening/night shoot, wrapping somewhere between midnight and 2am)
** You MUST be available for both days **
– Pay rate: $150 (total for both days)

“WALK THIS WAY” — Seeking African American females, 20s-40s. Some people will be selected for featured roles.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
– Comfortable with professional application of body makeup over a tube top
** A few people may be selected for waist-up body makeup over bare skin and pasties. PLEASE INDICATE WHETHER OR NOT YOU’RE COMFORTABLE WITH BODY MAKE UP, IMPLIED NUDITY, AND LIMITED COVERAGE **
FILM DETAILS:
– Monday, June 18th (AM / afternoon hours) and Tuesday, June 19th (overnight shoot, roughly sundown to sun up)
** You MUST be available for both days **
– Pay rate: $150 (total for both days)
– Filming hours: Anticipate 8-10 hours both days

“HUSTLE” — Seeking African American males, 20s-40s. This will be a featured role.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
– Ability to take instruction well, as you will be directed to act in scenes with the artist
– Comfortable with professional application of body makeup on bare chest
FILM DETAILS:
– Monday, June 18th (AM / afternoon hours – no night hours) and Tuesday, June 19th (the first few hours after sundown, but not overnight)
** You MUST be available for both days **
– Pay rate: $150 (total for both days)
– Filming hours: Anticipate roughly 8 hours both days
