What Men Want remake of 2000 Mel Gibson movie What Women Want is coming soon. The 2000 film, What Women Want, centered around Mel Gibson as an advertising executive who is suddenly granted the ability read women’s minds and then uses that to sell them things and seduce them. And then in the process, he finds out that women are people who should be respected!
Now a new movie inspired by the same premise is on the way to theaters with the genders flipped. According to Deadline, the forthcoming What Men Want will star Taraji P. Henson who plays “a female sports agent who has constantly been boxed out by her male colleagues.” She then uses her ability to hear men’s thoughts to her advantage at work.

Filming under the code-name “BROOKLYN“, HBO is now filming across the state of Georgia as the new TV pilot. According to reports, the Watchmen series has received a working title of Brooklyn.
Created by Moore and Gibbons, Watchmen centers around the alternate history in which superheroes first emerged in the 1940s, drastically altering the course of history over the subsequent decades. In 2016, it was announced actor Ryan Gosling will be playing the huge role of Neil Armstrong in the Damien Chazelle-directed biopic. Then in 2017, Project Casting shared the very first of many casting calls for the feature film as it filmed across the state of Georgia. Now the first trailer for the Georgia-filmed movie has arrived, taking a look at one of the world’s cultural moments in history: the first man to talk on the moon. The movie will center around Ryan Gosling’s Neil Armstrong from 1961 to 1969 telling a story of NASA’s mission to the moon.
The debut trailer gives movie-goers a glimpse at several key moments in Armstrong’s life, including the challenges he had to face in order to become the first man on the moon. First Man is an adaptation of James Hansen’s 2005 biography, First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong and will also star Jason Clarke, Kyle Chandler, and Claire Foy as Armstrong’s wife Janet. Academy Award-winning director Damien Chazelle has also helmed the Oscar-winning films Whiplash and La La Land.
Netflix is partnering up with Shonda Rhimes to make a new streaming series on New York’s recent story of Anna Delvey.
According to Deadline, the new series will center around Anna Sorokin, the Russian native was profiled by New York’s Jessica Pressler after being arrested last year following years of lying about her wealth and background within New York City’s elite social sphere. The Rhimes TV series will be written by the Scandal creator and is the first project in her new deal with Netflix, which was first announced in August. It is also a major departure from her deal with ABC, where her television shows have been airing for years.
The show will also feature Neff Davis, a former concierge at the hotel Delvey scammed New York’s social elites. An aspiring filmmaker herself, Davis tweeted that she’d be involved in the project on Friday night, writing “I am beyond excited to be able to be under Shonda’s wings. A true Shero for me. Thank you all for believing in me!”
The show’s creator Brian Yorkey will return as the showrunner of the show, from Paramount Television and Anonymous Content. Filming for the third season is set to begin later this year without the show’s original star Katherine Langford, who recently announced that she would be leaving the show after playing Hannah for two seasons.
That said, Selena Gomez, Yorkey, Joy Gorman, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, Tom McCarthy, Selena Gomez, Steve Golin, and Michael Sugar will be returning as executive producers of the show.

This news comes less than a month after the May 18th debut of Season 2. 13 Reasons Why is currently one of Netflix’s most popular shows, with the current season breaking records as one of the most-streamed series. The second season had over 2.6 million viewers in the U.S. during its first three days after its debut, according to Nielsen, with the premiere averaging 6 million viewers in three days.
Despite all of the show’s success, the show drew controversy and many argued whether or not Netflix should move forward with a third season due to the show’s topic matter. The series features bullying, teen drinking, suicide and rape in graphic detail. So much so, that mental health experts argued that it could pose risks to highly impressionable youth with suicidal thoughts. As a result, Netflix introduced advisories that played before each episode and a PSA video that auto-plays in advance of the first episode in each season.
So what is next for Season 3 of 13 Reasons Why?
Netflix’s Yorkey shared some clues about his plans at a Netflix panel last week.
“What happened to Hannah will always be the first clause of the story,” he said. “The rest of the story is about young people, as so many young people, maybe all young people today (learn) how to heal from the things that have hurt them…to make the world that they want it to be, not just the world they are inheriting…and above all, how to take care of each other.”

According to IMDB, Barbara Fiorentino is the casting director for the TV series. Barbara Fiorentino Casting has cast some of the biggest TV shows including UnREAL, Blindspot, The Shield, and CSI: NY. In a recent interview with Deadline, Barbara Fiorentino discussed how she feels to see reality TV stars take acting jobs.
“I kind of had a bee in my bonnet about airspace being taken up by real people when there are wonderful actors out there who needed jobs,” she says.
Florentine added,“From the start, I’ve had an issue with reality television, and even more so with dating shows, just because I think it exploits women, and men as well—and just the idea of intimacy and love, and how that can evolve.”

These individuals will be responsible for creative development, production, post-production, and delivery of smaller projects with the direct supervision of a Producer. The ideal candidates will possess at least one of the above passions, and have some experience acting as a “one person team” on productions of their own. We will primarily be looking for candidates with interest in either cinematography, editing, and/or directing/producing.
These roles are springboards into higher level positions at Red Productions. We want candidates who are looking to learn and grow in their respective interest; who want to move up in our team. They must also be candidates who strive to create the very best work they can, while also making the experience fun for those around them.
Our close-knit team works with a select roster of directors, writers, cinematographers, and other bright creatives allowing us to provide our Clients with everything they need. These entry level roles will look to relieve our team of 8 and take over some of the jobs that we do not have the time or budget needed to provide them with the undivided attention and excellent service all our clients deserve.
In addition to the above responsibilities, these roles will assist Red Productions in their corresponding departments and fill in where needed. EXAMPLES: The Editing candidate will act as an Assistant Editor on larger projects; the Cinematography candidate will act as a Grip or Camera Operator on larger sets as well as assist with lite office and equipment maintenance; and the Directing/Producing candidate will act as a Key Set PA on larger sets and assist the Producing team with various paperwork and tasks.
Red Productions has all the trappings of a 21st-century creative office: dogs, a kegerator, fun music streaming for most of the day and open workspaces. We also have quiet time to dig in and focus. Oh, and 401k, health benefits, vacation/sick time, and profit sharing. You’re also given two days of paid time off for serving the community through what we call “giving back days”. These are full-time roles located at our studio in Fort Worth with around five percent travel, and a TENTATIVE START DATE of July 18.
